CMK had said that he has 3 pitchers on the shelf with Tommy John. So pitching won't be our strong suit this year. But if they all heal the way you hope, next year should be a very good one.
Which ones?

I thought that was Warren Sapp in the pic...lol

I think I am most excited to see McCants get some more playing time this year. He looked explosive a couple times he caught the ball. MVS and Clearveaux are both unknown, but are both 6'3" so should slot in as challengers outside.
MVS isn't an unknown...i expect him to start along with Adams

Hard to believe FSU offered a 2* TE who up until a week or so ago had a top offer of Georgia Southern.
-
I wouldn't mind if this is the end here for Perry...he has become very hard to watch play knowing how much talent he has.
-
He is supposedly visiting Temple for the blizzard this weekend and Pitt the following weekend...i wonder if this guy just wants to see snow...Philly and Pitt are two very unappealing places in the dead of winter IMO, also two of the most urban college campuses out there.

We only took 30 more shots than them and lost by 10...that's a ridiculous stat...lol

I was thinking the same, when the Allen departure was made public, I was expecting decommits to start rolling in. It did not happen, good job by the USF staff to keep that intact.
Very true +1

Nabers is solid TE depth

Auburn is one thing, but going to a program where 6 wins is the best you can do every year makes little sense to me...we have more talent than IU 9 out of 10 years plus I'm sure IU isn't breaking the bank for him either...

Unless Perry has some kind of epiphany and starts playing like he did as a Frosh then Da Silva will take lots of his minutes. Da Silva is good.

This guy is a manchild...not elite speed but will be very good for us IMO

Never seen Da Silva play, but I doubt he would start over perry. Guerrero was great at the end of last season but hadn't really improved much. I'm also not sure if we want to play without a true point guard in there again, but we definitely have a lot more depth next year barring injury. Never too soon.
Da Silva is much more active and athletic than Perry. Perry does nothing for me at this point, he is getting worse every game...could always go Thorpe/Feliz, McMurray, Holston, Baxter and Da Silva and play track meet style.

My starting 5 for next season...McMurray, Holston, Baxter, Da Silva and Santos...too soon?

Surprising the staff seems to be struggling in recruiting this year since that's what Taggart is known for. Seems it's going to come down to the stretch.
Please define struggling?...I'll wait until signing day to pass judgement but I don't think the staff is struggling too much

How long until Salomon flips to UM...3, 2, 1...

It seems like we are not recruiting the type of LBers this year that would convert to the Bull position. I wonder if there is a connection between Andre Polk committing and this kid backing out. We have a few guys at the Bull position right now, looking at he roster we had a huge class of DEs and LBers last year.
Polk looks like a husky type to me.

It's two in name, but three in practice given the Bull position. This type of attitude has gotten us into trouble in the past (at QB for instance). We need to recruit virtually every position every year. That's how you keep a team stocked.
We are at least 4 deep at each of the two LB positions and no I'm not counting guys that play DE. I'm sure we will still sign at least one mlb and olb in this class as well. If everyone stays and we sign Micario Stanley we will have 5 middle backers alone and none being seniors plus Harris, Bayes, Brown and Sawtelle at weakside. Josh Black is also still there too potentially.
-
We have zero need for LBs in this class...we only play with two and have a ton of young talent on the roster already. This will only be a problem if a bunch of guys transfer out.
-
I'll give Perry credit, he had a good game from the foul line...Nunez and Cousins were awful and the turnovers are just pathetic.
-
God **** is Nunez a bad passer
-
Nunez looks like he is on the take today

Wait why? What happened?
Because he plays hard about 25% of the time...
