That's just what the P5 wants so we'll go away and they won't have to be bothered including us in their money grab. We'd really be irrelevant then.
The winner could still play in a NY6 bowl.

The G5 Should just have their own 8 team playoff.

Disagree. They run the pistol option that can be tough unless a team is really prepared and their defense is vastly improved. This is the third year for their coach so he is just now getting the players he needs to run that system. I bet they get six wins and become Bowl eligible.
Winning 6 games in the AAC is no accomplishment...two thirds of the conference is flat out awful. USF and UCF are good, Navy and Houston are solid and the rest are pretty terrible. When bad teams play each other, someone has to win.

Tulane is not good at all

If we played FIU in a bowl game we might be 50 point favorites...that might be the worst bowl matchup of all time.
-
Hard to see us ever getting back to that point. It was a great night though, that's for sure.

If we bring our A game on offense we could easily get north of 70...ECU gives up 625 yards per game...we could rest QF for the game and still easily cover the spread.

Can anyone really say we have a more effective offense than last year? ever on par with last year... Offense deserves the C
I completely agree that the offense has not been impressive on a consistent basis so far, but what would we consider good at this point? 60+ points per game and 750+ yards per game? It seems a little nuts to expect such ridiculous output when 40 and 500 will probably win us every game.

The Bullspen, where 40 points and 500 yards per game is bland and ineffective...lol

The only thing Temple did well last night was rush the passer. I don't like how all of our pass plays seem to be from the pocket. Would it be too much to ask for a roll out or a bootleg?
-
Anyone that expected a bigger crowd on a Thursday night against this Temple team is delusional...we have around 20k season ticket holders so that puts attendance at 15k - 25k for just about every game at this point. Just accept it until we build an OCS.

Yes I feel better, but that was a very bad team we played. The good news is that most remaining teams on our schedule are not much better. I would still be freaking out if we were playing a top 25 team next week!
While we are a top 25 team, I don't think we could beat one.
There are plenty of top 25 teams we could beat if we play well.

I just completed this quiz.

Say what you want about the offense but we are a lot easier to game plan for without Mack and Adams no matter what offense we are running.

QF is the best QB in USF history without playing a down yet this season and it isn't even close.

My two cents on why this must happen at USF.
The other schools that are competitive with USF in the next round of realignment have all invested in their facilities.
Houston new stadium
Colorado State new stadium
UC major renovations
UCF has been improving their stadium
Tulane new stadium
USF has been perceived as not being all in with supporting the program. This line has been heard repeatedly from coaches and newscasters. If USF waits until there is realignment moves it may be too late. The school and administration should have learned from the last Big12 talks where we were not a slam dunk and were perceived to be on the outside.
this would be a signal to the Big12 that USF is willing to step Big with quality and would put us back in the front seat of additions.
In my book the administration has no choice but to move on this or we might as well start thinking Sunbelt or 1AA

My seats in section 118 cost $18.86 per ticket per game...I can't complain at all.
-
This game should be somewhere around 50-14. If it is close then we have no business being ranked.

You know we have hit rock bottom when we are playing road games against Stetson, Elon and App St. In the same season. This non conference schedule is pure garbage, even Indiana is gonna suck this year most likely. We better win most of them even with a whole new team.

Not true at all. One of the reasons MLB instituted its slotting system. If they screwed him as a senior, legit screwed him, MLBPA would file a lawsuit on his behalf and it would cost the team 10x as much as a bonus.
The only rounds that are slotted are the top ten. Max bonus after round 10 is $100k unless they want to dip into their bonus pool. If you are picked after the 10th round you are not guaranteed a bonus and seniors have no leverage at all.

Joe C. signing is the only real surprise. The Mets must have had some extra money to sweeten the deal. The projected bonus for that pick is well below $100k.
They can pay you nothing as a Senior bonus wise. Odds of Cavallaro getting into the top 10 rounds next year would have been pretty slim so if he wanted any kind of bonus at all he would have had to sign now. Something is better than nothing i guess.
-
He would be more successful here. How much more could they possibly pay a baseball coach than us?
-
I agree with everything you said. McClanahan doesn't care about his teammates or USF at all. Not sure why he even went to college at this point, all he sees are dollar signs but doesn't want to compete to impress anyone. Leal batting fifth killed us last night, if Coco is hitting there we probably win.
