  1. They are still in the "There is no evidence of anything illegal and this is just a conspiracy/hit job by UL their lackey Pat Forde" mode. The first stage of grief is denial and they are still very much in denial. Yeah, if their assessment of the outcome of the Plancher trial is any indication of what to expect from them, they will probably be in the denial stage for quite a while.
  2. Man, it must suck to be a Knight right now. First, it looks like the AQ school they admire most looks like will get a large hammer dropped on them, now their own school looks like will face sanctions. Maybe it's just wishful thinking, but with the exception of a few UCF blind homers, I think it might be a little quiet around here for a while if anything happens to UCF.
  3. I was at the 42-0 romp of UF over UCF. I can't overstate the combination of feelings of embarrassment and amusement I felt for UCF fans who were talking so much smack before the game. Then their team failed to cash the check their fans' mouths were writing, and looked like a Pee Wee team against the Gators. It was ridiculous.
  4. You mention all those teams and leave out the Magic? Come on, man.
  5. So what's your point? This isn't about USF. You'd like to see this, wouldn't you? Still butthurt about getting leapfrogged. Then why is your coach trotting out this moronic, pathetic idea? : No, UCF is the only college football team in Orlando. GOL has made it perfectly clear with this idea that UCF is not Orlando's team, big difference. Who wouldn't want their team to play in a BCS conference? Sorry, but it doesn't appear this is a choice you or casual UCiF fans get to make. In the meantime, continue to support Miami and Florida while your team plays Tulsa, Southern Methodist and Tulane. /funrant
  6. While you are correct, I think comparing USF and UCF in this scenario like comparing apples to oranges. With USF, we're in an AQ conference so there's no reason to cheer for another of the "Big 3." I think this has a lot to do with why USF probably doesn't have this issue nearly as bad as UCF does.
  7. UCF wins. No way USF can compete with that last one. Cold shower coming up ...
  8. Not then ... but was when he said this: "The Knights play like a legit big-time program". Thanks, Trip. Just another example of a UCF fan getting the wrong message and running with it. If he just visited the campus a couple weeks ago, he couldn't have watched an actual game there, could he? :
  9. I would be very surprised if Feldman actually went to a game there. To say the things he said in his article tells me that he's jumping on a bandwagon that is way off course regarding UCF and the Big East. My guess is he is speaking out of ignorance.
  10. first time they win 11 games. first bowl win against an AQ team. though they are trending upwards. Wasn't that the first bowl win ever?
  11. If it's meant to happen, it will happen. Do we have to like it? No. But is USF scared? Not in the least. To assert otherwise is ludicrous and defies logic. Oh and one more thing: Fixed it for Mike Beyonce.
  12. Hopefully the mods will close this thread soon. Can't deny I've been drawn to the conversation, but geez ... almost 400 posts...
  13. Are you kidding me that he's not announcing tomorrow? He's been making such a big deal over this that you know he's looking forward to the party tomorrow morning. I call BS on not announcing tomorrow. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but I'm still calling BS. I'll say one thing about the kid ... he knows his audience and he knows how to play to it.
  14. Out of hand yes, but he could be just toying with everyone since he seems to love being so cryptique with twitter. I think this is the case. He's a puppetmaster right now ... he knows it too, and he's loving it. Just who, exactly, are his strings attached to ...? Pretty much any of us who have contributed to the 300+ posts on this thread.

  16. He will never see a BCS game (and probably not a conference championship) with any of those teams. At USF, he has a real chance to go to a contending team.
  17. Of course I want Grady at USF, he'll have the best chance of succeeding with us ... but if it comes down to Wake Forest vs. ISU, go with the Deacs. At least you have a chance to be successful there.
  18. Why anyone would want to go to Louisville, KY over Tampa, FL is beyond me. But I've never been to Louisville, and grew up near Tampa so I'm biased ... but still.
  19. If you are referring to what I think you are, then yes ... we just need a QB with some natural football intelligence - the ability to make reads, check down, throw the ball away when the receivers are covered, not take sacks, etc.
  20. I bet Holtz and co. could figure out a way to use what could possibly the highest rated USF recruit ever. Especially considering our extremely limited options at QB. they didn't really figure out how to use the rivals #8 rated dual threat from 3 years ago(BJ Daniels) so i'm not sure the #2 rated this year is any better suited to their offense. How can you say that? If the play from QB was better the year could have been a lot more successful. Not like the coaches couldn't figure out how to use him. This is revisionist history.
  21. Sooooo.....You're saying he is another Jacory Harris? Not sure where you're getting that, because that's not what I'm saying at all. Bridgewater is FAR more mobile than Jacory is.
  22. Would be a pretty good get ... looks like he has some GREAT mobility, doesn't have the strongest arm but he's accurate and hits the open guys. Here's a cool Youtube:
