I sent the same Tweet to Giselle about meeting up for some drinks after the divorce news.
I sent the same tweet to Tom. Even though I don't bat on that side of the plate it is still freaking Tom Brady

That doesn't really answer my question. There are/were plenty of better jobs that Will Wade could have taken that would have paid him much better than McNeese State.
I certainly understand the "bottom of the barrel" comment. I'll use the example that I have used multiple times on this board. If we want to move up and move to a better place, then it all starts with more investment from those who support us. Our "friends" to the East were in a similar situation about 20 years ago and they made the investment into Athletics and their supporters got on board even when their teams were not producing the on field results that their fanbase wanted to see and I'm sure that they thought their major programs were an "embarrassment" at that time.
I'm glad to hear that you renewed your FB season tickets. I know it's been very tough the last 4 and a half seasons, but better times are ahead. Hopefully our fans see that and know that they can invest more and they can also find some friends who would be willing to do the same.
I think it does, From a coaching standpoint their is little question. From a character question yes. Well established schools don't need to take a risk USF does. If he wins and has a character issue so be it if we win and we have no buy out At least we start anew with a winning team

How come a more established program didn't go after him?
There are plenty of better jobs that were available.
John with all due respect We are a bottom of the barrel athletic program. Even our so called elite teams like women's basketball and softball are not elite in the scheme of things and in reality 95% of a dwindling fan base only cares about football and basketball and a little bit of baseball. In all 3 cases USF is an embarrassment to us. I have a glimmer of home for Golesh that's why I re-upped my season tickets but so far VP Kelly has a grade of an F with all his coaching hiring, extension ect

Pitino was asked about being linked to the St. John’s job during the Maac championship presser,he said he would only leave Iona if he found another school that has won and will win year in and year out. He also said there is very little amount schools that currently do that.So I highly doubt he will come here. we will have to get a coach that has proven himself before and is on the rebound to prove himself again.Other wise we will get a assistant from some big school like always. I say just get chucky atkins and called it a day, he would be in penny hardways shoes.
Just now, goingbackbull said:Again Chucky doesn’t have a college degree he cannot get a job at USF

If they aren’t going to hire a coach that’s has good head coaching experience, I would go with Chucky Atkins over any assistant coach.
They tried to hire chucky as an asst a while back but because he didn’t have a degree it was a no

Would be cool if they called out all of the old spots in some manner. Have the concourse areas named like greenery lane, peabodys blvd, copper top road, etc...
Yucatan Liquor Stand on Via El Loco Toro lane (name the concourses something cool
This is actually funny. me and my girl always joke that we should re open the Yucatan. That us 50yr old somethings would keep the pace hoping

Forgive me if this sounds stupid While in and out of sleep last night I was thinking about realignment. I do believe if FSU does leave the ACC we slide in to take their place. In my subconscious my thought was if FSU has an invite to the SEC or Big 10 they technically split the university in 2 as well as the sports programs. FSU (the JV teams) stays in the ACC and collects all the ACC money. Come up with a second name like The Florida State University and move the "varsity teams " to that "new University" in the SEC.
I didn't take any sleep aids that made me hallucinate so maybe this does make sense

interesting. does the source for this have any info on if the big donors have liked these?
I have no idea about that.

This rendering is dated 2 months ago and we just approved 22 million to actual design a stadium. Safe assumption this isn't what its going to look like, if it was why would we need 22 million to design it
Actually word is that it is these are pretty close to the options as these have been floated to the big donors

Speaking of those courts. Drives me crazy seeing tons of people playing on them when their is a hoops game going on.

Dude can flat out run. One of the fastest track athletes in Florida

Commitment from an unrated "athlete" Ranod Smith from Ft. Myers

Gregory"s biggest problem is he simply doesn't recruit shooters. He focuses on athletes who can play defense. Trey Moss is someone I wonder why he isn't playing more. He is shooting 50% from 3, granted very limited but it is hard to play so little and hit shots. My guess is Gregory thinks he is a defensive liability, hence him putting defense first

Awesome guy, looks like he still would kill it. Appreciated me telling him us die hard old school USF fans wish we had him back. Just what I felt from our little conversation but seems like he holds a pretty big grudge.

Do they have to lose a school for us to get an invite at some point ....?
I would be pretty confident FSU amd UM would first never allow it. Secondly are we or will we ever be that valuable of a program for them to just add us with 2 teams already in the Florida market. I just don't think so

I was up at my companies HQ this week to train some new people. My company is a pretty big supporter of Pitt. On Tuesday we presented Pitt athletics with a check so we were wined and dined in the club area.
Peterson athletic center is nice but Yuengling blows it out of the water. It just seemed dated but had so much room on the concourses even bigger then Amalie. Arena seats 12,500. It was probably a little less then half filled so estimating 5,500 people. Student section was into it but I would say at most there were 1,200 kids It was really loud though, the noise echos. Pitt is decent this year and for playing a ACC conference foe I was expecting more students and fans.
We parked in a garage that was attached to their "indoor performance center" Really strange setup as you almost walk straight into it when you get off the elevator. Sow some Softball girls practicing in it. It is really old and decrepit looking. The Porter totally destroys it.
What was funny was the guy that was in charge of taking care of us and trying to get more cash, came to Pitt about two years ago from UC. I told him I'm USF and somehow UCF came up . He said he hates that school as does almost everyone else. He became my friend Also he doesn't believe the ACC is going to lose any schools going forward so USF will never get an invite. Not sure how in the know he is so probably means nothing.

If we can link the Yuengling Tampa Campus with the USF Tampa Campus we may have something for me to get excited about.
Just said the other day to my girl, how much fun it will be to hit the Yuengling beer garden before a game

Did we mention Chris Carter yet? They never gave this man a chance. He had to fight off transfers every year he played.
Maybe this means Brett Seither is coming home

I've never seen a tight end miss as many blocks as him

John Lewis A bit ago you mentioned you love the naming of the field in the IPF. When are we going to hear that?

We are every team's homecoming opponent. I live in South carolina and everybody tells me that they think it's nice that I wear the apparel and support such a small school. That makes me livid. Lol.
My God man You have the easiest comeback ever. We are 1-1 against USC and 1-0 against Clemson

RIP college football for 2/3rds of the country. This is a garbage system of have and have nots, and I don’t see how the have nots will ever be able to compete.
Even the halves are not liking it. This is a total mess
