Kind of habit forming, ain't it?

Let's see. The secondary cannot cover and the front 7 cannot effectively rush the passer, blitzing or not.
Duck and cover.

LOL ... A replay should be up the website at some point and I think I'll listen to that before making any judgment calls. People hear what they want to hear at times.
Ya think?
That may be one of the biggest understatements I've ever read on here.

BJ played his best game of the season against Ball State... with that said our offense only managed to score 27 points against a MAC team which is pathetic.
How many drives were killed becuase of penalties?
Not as many drives that were killed because of lack of leadership and having no game plan.
Run BJD right... Run BJD left... BJD over throws the intended receiver... punt... defense back on the field.
Run Murray middle... run Murray left... BJD overthrows the intended receiver... punt... defense back on the field.
BJD played a good game for once, but thanks to bad play calling and no leadership on the field that performance was wasted. If we are going to beat FSU, or at-least keep from getting embarrassed this Saturday then our O needs to put together some long drives so our weak ass D can take a break.
It doesn't matter how many drives were killed because of penalties. I doesn't matter how they moved the ball. If the defense does it's job, BJ and company get maybe 4 or 5 more possessions and at least 17 more points. Then we're talking about a 44- single digit win, instead of a 31-27 loss.
Alabama's offense would do no better than ours against Ball State, if their defense allowed the Cardinals to run the clock and score like ours did.
This loss is ALL on the defense.

So much for not complaining.

Perfect.
I'm all for the futile stupid gesture. That's how I got through college. It's my specialty.

You guys don't get it Hotlz does not get rid of his staff
Stick in the mud.

Being pissed off is ok. Intentionally hurting USF is not.
WE need to stay strong.
- Wear green and gold
- KEEP your season tickets, attend the games
- Support the UNIVERSITY, not just the football program alone
USF football was never about one person. It is for US and even though our coaching staff/players seem down, WE should not be.

I haven't seen them quit, yet. It's kind of hard to quit and come back like they do, ain't it?

The zone on third down is the most disgusting thing he said
I thought we had depth this year, so we didn't have to do that. Isn't that what he said before the season?
Not once did I hear him use the wind as an excuse for the loss. It was there, and a factor in the game for both teams. He simply explained how they dealt with it, that's all. Offense wasn't the problem in this game, he said that as well. Too many penalties. The defense did not execute. That's what I saw. That's what I heard come out of his mouth.

Sorry to piss on the parade, but I have no intention of jumping off of the bandwagon because the road got bumpy. I'll be there every game, cheering my ass off. It's quite a large ass, too, so duck.

Not bad at all. I like it.

It seemed the worse thing we could do was putting them in a 3rd and long situation. They converted those almost every time.
I think Tim Wright just caught another one across the middle.

Fun fact: We havent beaten a BCS team at home since.....
November 3, 2010 against Rutgers(28-27).
Its a good thing there isn't relegation in college football otherwise we would have been banished to C-USA, or worse.
Actually there is relegation in college football, only it's called realignment.

1) For those not traveling to Reno, what are your pregame and game plans?
Watch Party at Capogna's.
2) Will you make a road game this season? If so, which?
Depends entirely on the health of my father, but we would like to make UofL, UC, and Miami.
3) With the Big East's Week One in the books, do you feel a Bulls BE Championship is now more likely or less likely?
Less likely.
4) On this 15th anniversary of Bulls Football, what is one of your earliest - or favorite - memories of the program?
Earliest? Rafael Williams off right tackle to score USF's very first touchdown. Duh!!
Favorite? The the sack of Christian Ponder to end the last FSU chance in 2009. What a great day!
5) Best place to visit - Tamplona or Reno de Janeiro?
Tampalona for the running of the War Flamingos.

Mrs. S and I will be there, coming from Citrus Park, mugs raised.

I was frustrated at times, but I'm never bored at any game. The 3rd quarter dragged, because the refs seemed unable to make a call without a 2 minute discussion involved and/or a review. 1st game kinks. Happens every year.

I'm not a jumper, but I did readjust my expectations some.
-
Damnit... Why is everyone telling me not to jump off the skyway?????
Not me. I'd never tell a penner he should not do what he feels necessary. Need a lift to the top?
-
So I can't jump off the skyway?
Whatever makes you feel good. Go for it.

In every big from 2006 thru 2009, one name stands out.
Nate Allen.

I quit watching ESPN non-game broadcasts years ago. Unless there is a game on, that I want to see, I go elsewhere for my sports news. So they can ignore us all they want, because I ignore them.
