Have you looked at a depth chart from last year? A lot of the defensive starters have been here as starters or back ups especially the DL and LB. Gordon. Cheney. Amaris Brown. Logan. Evans. Hill. So at least half the defense. Plus I'm sure there's others im not thinking about
Do other teams suffer this much when it comes to drops? It's baffling how many times a ball hits them right in the hands and they just drop it like they're being swarmed
FAU would have punted next play anyway and knowing USF they would have fumbled it right back to FAU on the catch. Or FAU would have gone for it and converted
With as far behind as our defenders get, in surprised they don't try to punch the ball out more. They have plenty of chances since they get burned. Why not try to create more turnovers.
Sweet and we turn it over
It's puzzling. Our running game seems like it's based on a more NFL style power game but we run with our QB and we only go out of the shotgun 99% of the time. You would think they would run more sweeps to the outside of the tackles. I wonder if they think the center and guards are better than the tackles at run blocking
We do have to remember. This was one of the worst teams for years. We brought in a lot of new guys but they're still a lot of the same guys that lost all those games. We have to expect games like this no matter how much it sucks.
I think the early fumble and pick by BB killed any momentum. Difference between this week and last week is UAB has a good fast offense. Once they got rolling the defense just gave up
We were equally close to picking that ball off in the end zone as we were to giving up a TD. On what was basically a 15 yard hail Mary
