Every team and fan is fair game. That's life. If the announcers want to poke fun, big deal. UCF and their fans need some humble pie. They got away with a lot of subterfuge. Part of that subterfuge helped them win games and go to a Fiesta Bowl. They cheated and they deserve what they are getting right now. I hope it gets worse and I hope the announcers bury them during the game next week. 

On ESPN one of the host's just said "that' a whole lot of aluminum isn't it?" The other guys in the booth laughed. 

I heard he (Taggart) is leaving to take the job at Virginia Tech. Apparently, he has already given his notice to USF. Harbough will resign from Michigan and join him as a "Co-Coach." Rich Rodriguez and Al Golden are going to report directly to Harbaugh and Taggart. It's supposed to be a dream-team of sorts. The only thing they are waiting on is for Brian Kelly to give notice to join them as the QB coach. He's waiting til after bowl season to let Notre Dame know he is leaving to join Taggart. 

I think it would be really swell if they built a stadium that was large enough to hold a brand new USF campus. 

We are one offensive impact player and one defensive impact player away. The team has improved. Coach can recruit . Next year, and going forward, USF will be a threat once again. 

Kiffin would never end up at USF. Never. He's an egomaniac and loves prestige. USF has no cache'. The only way Taggert gets fired is if the the team is not competitive and they go winless the rest of the season. 

What's even more ridiculous is the devotion to celebrity worship. The antics of the shows and pregame material is on the precipice of overshadowing the game itself. I used to watch Game Day from beginning-to-end. I have a hard time watching 45% of it now. 

I'm ecstatic about it. I despise ESPN, What used to be a sports network, has now been reduced to broadcasting political activism and social interest propaganda. The shows are scripted. The phony exuberance and dialogue between hosts is embarrassing. Watch it closely. So much of the "reporting" that occurs in front of "team headquarters" is nothing more than gossip. It's as if they've taken a page from General Hospital. Moreover, the network conspired with the larger football divisions to purposely prevent smaller conferences from growing to prominence. I hope they all get fired. I don't give a ****. 

The whole "pink" scam is pathetic. What a joke. Unbelievable that this is approved. 

The teams from last night showed that they are tenacious and resilient.................................USF is nowhere close....

The offense sucks. QB has a terrible throwing motion. He was able to get away with it in high school because of his ability to run. The running backs suck. We have no deep threat. Defense has improved and overall their is improvement. From a competitive standpoint of winning the conference, we aren't their yet. I would rank this team on a scale of 1-10, a 4.

Sports Bar Venues around St. Pete Beach/Gulfport are pretty much DIVE-Centric. RumFish (guy Harvey Outpost) would be the best option....Sweet place..

My analysis sums up what needs to be said during the mind numbing minutia that occurs during sideline, radio and studio interviews...I'll take my "royalty" check in cash please..

Northern Illinois should be in a better conference.The have a strong following. They would kick our ass. I've been following them over the last few years (my wife's Alma mater). They would have beaten FSU in the Orange Bowl, if they had a receiver that could catch the ball. 

I saw growth, maturity, an attacking defense.

During the game yesterday, there were flashes of defense that I had not seen in 6 years. It was nice to see. They have improved. Unfortunately, Bench is terrible. We forced 6 turnovers and still lost. That is inexcusable. 

When Rich Herrera speaks, he sounds as if he has a mouthful of chocolate cake....

With the hopes he gets off 98.7.  This guy just puts down USF every chance he gets.  I hear that obnoxious laugh whenever someone mentions the Bulls and I want to drive over to the studio and slap his ugly mug.  

 

His check down is this... To be good must be SEC, LSU is best... or Bucs, then only Defense.  

 

If he could read he could see that his station is HOME TO USF....

He's lying. Why would he not think it strange that the diploma never came in the mail. You mean to try to tell me that he thought that diploma's aren't awarded and it's reflected on transcripts only? Coach's are big on accomplishments and recognition. He never had the desire to hang his diploma?

The sad thing is we beat them prior to conference realignment. The timing for us to have "down years" could not have been worse.

People wanted to run Al Golden out of town just a short time ago...It took him 3 years to get a "key" win...Give it time. UCF went winless just a short time ago (not that I want to go winless). All teams have a period of rebuilding...
