  1. BJ could've played better today, but if I were to make a top-5 reasons-for-why-we-lost-today list, I would put him behind Coaches, Defense and O-Line; put him fourth.

But he is the best QB on this team and there is ZERO argument about that. We have seen Eveld max out the Suckage meter, and Floyd will never start a game in his unless AW decommits or an injury.

  2. I want to see FSU players laid out. Im serious. Not hurt or anything really dirty obviously, but we need to send a message. A Sam Barrington type hit in the last minute of the Nevada game is what Im talking about. Something clean but mean. If he gets up within 3 minutes, you didnt hit him hard enough. Think of the Reggie Bush hit where he buckled to his knees. We cannot allow them to come into our building and leave cleanly, especially not when so many of their fans will be there. They are going to do it to us. If you watch the Wake Forest game again, they had plenty of extra curricular hits that didnt get flagged. I assume this is because they were at home. But they did not hold back and WF players were hitting the dirt even when passes were overthrown. There was contact on EVERY throw, regardless of whether there was a catch or not. This is what Im talking about.

For those unfamiliar with the RB hit:

Still remember seeing Lejiste plaster Tavarres Pressley! Hit of the year. Unfortunately I don't think Pressley ever played again.

  3. I want to see Matt Floyd play

I'm taking this and adding, I want Matt Floyd to start. I'm saying it, I don't care how much grief I catch on here. If our season is indeed over as some have posted, then why stick with the QB that will not be here next year? Why not give Matt Floyd a shot? Let the verbal beating commence in 3..2..1....

I think even if the season was over they would keep BJ in. This isn't the NFL with a 2-12 team having a 40-year-old starting at QB and a promising rookie as the backup. This is college football, where seniors are given the reigns as a farewell to a program they were loyal to for four+ years. As much as people want to see BJ benched, unless he either gets hurt or makes unforced errors (and, no, he does not commit a lot of unforced errors), he will be the starting QB for the rest of the season.

  4. Allow me to save further posts on this thread by closing it out providing predictions based on what the SMARTEST members of this board predict (I'm surprised they haven't said it yet).

    With BJ at QB

    Ball State - W

    FSU - L

    Temple - W

    Louisville - L

    Cuse - L

    UCONN - L

    Miami - L

    Cincy - L

    Pitt - L

With SUPERMAN BOBBY EVELD at QB

    Ball State - W

    FSU - W

    Temple - W

    Louisville - W

    Cuse - W

    UCONN - W

    Miami - W

    Cincy - W

    Pitt - W

  5. BJ made some off throws last night. But BJ isn't, and never was, known as a QB who can complete 65-70% of his passes! No QB on this team is capable of that! I guarantee you if you throw Matt Floyd out there against Rutgers he would get flattened. Hell, go back to Louisville last year. Eveld was a punching bag.

We do not have the O Line nor the running game (from the RB position) to just sit back and find an open receiver. BJ ran for his life all night long, and history has shown that when BJ, actually any QB, would not be very successful trying to find an open receiver while running from 2 or 3 defenders.

I place 0% of the blame on BJ for this loss. 40% O Line, 40% Running Backs, 20% defense on third and longs.
