    Just said the same thing, in this situation, at a minimum, it can't take 20 seconds to get a play in. Gotta go back to the Q offense, understand the defense is bad, and be aggressive enough to score 40 every game if we want to win.

    Haha, my wife, half watching saw the wr that was hurt and asked if it was the QB, said it didn't matter, I could play QB against our team... ... She clarified that I meant now, not 20 years ago.

    I would like to see the defense just be aggressive for a whole series, even if it's one play with a cheap TD. Play press man and pretend like youre going to make the QB fit the ball into a tighter window. So sick of seeing WRs with their own zip code.

    3rd and 6, dbs need to protect about 12 yards out.

    Offensive game plan is weird so far. I get that we need to run, but putting Timmy in 3rd and long on every series doesn't work either.

    3rd and 4, dbs 8 yards deep... That's coaching. I'm ok with missed tackles, being completely out of position 75% of the time is brutal.

    This is true... Good coaching 101 is that you run on 1st, if you get decent yards, you run again, if not, you burn your whole play clock and adjust your focus to getting a 1st down by any means.

    We've won 1 fbs game in 2 years, you should feel really good about that win.

    It's not necessarily trusting the defense, it's hoping something good happens, maybe holding calls, maybe something else, but I am not a fan of giving up that field position. In all honesty, if they have the hands team on the field, I'm kicking it deep, they won't have their blockers in. If they come out without the hands team, I'd try it, but in that scenario, I would kick it deep since they had all their Guys waiting for the on side attempt.

    We had timeouts, should have been running slants/crossing routes, picking up a hand full of yards instead of trying to get the big chunks. There was time to at least pretend like we could stay in it.

    Where are the slants? Are we just going to try to throw deep 4 times? Jesus!

    I mean, it has to be demoralizing to a defense that has like 4 stops this quarter when you go for the onside kick. They just got a huge stop, if ever they were going to be fired up, it was then.

    What is 59 doing on that play, waiting in the hole to get blocked instead of going and making a tackle. Awful.

    I don't get it... Why not just do a normal on side kick? They have their hands team out, the cute setup does Zero for you. Just wow.

    Maybe defense will be fired up after getting that sack? Maybe refs will hit holgerson with an unsportsmanlike penalty at an inopportune time for them? (This would be hilarious!)

    Fully expect to score a TD here, and then watch our defense let them chew up the rest of the clock.

    Don't mind running on either 1st or 2nd, but not both.

    It's like they were shocked that the 3rd down play didn't work (and it should have). Still, you call 3rd down and you think about options for the next play, you are not a spectator, you're calling plays. Once you send that one it, you have 3 options, pick up 1st and you're calling a 1st and 10 play. No or short gain and you're calling a 4th and short play, or, lose yards and you are punting. Those decisions should be made before the 3rd down ball is ever snapped.

    Not sure why they are leaning on their run game when receivers have a 12 yard cushion.
