  1. Yeah I was referring to the interview story about the Ville visit but thanks for letting me know that I need to check out USFNation after this!!!
  2. He'd be a great pick up but I got the feeling after I read that article that someone is feeding him good PR lingo. I expect him to go elsewhere.
  3. 5'11" and runs a 4.4 sounds like a possible ean randolph replacement to me  The size and speed would be pretty good for CB also which is how Scout has him listed.
  4. Josh had an update on his site but I'll let him post it if he likes.
  5. His offensive stats are amazing and I really like that USF is starting to get more and more recruits out of GA. That was a big part of FSU's success in the 90's and after CMR left to GA, their recruiting dried up in the region. Great pick up!!!
  6. USF will keep the scholarship available to him... why? will he be a starter (4-5 star)when he arrives? if not why hold the scholie, if you have another player who wants to be here and commits? is he that good? Him and Sinclair have the most potential out of every high school recruit that we have interest in or have a verbal from at this poing IMO.  And from what I've read on Josh's site, we're not going after too many other DEs...
  7. Robert, I think you have Mompremier and Robinson in the wrong places.  It's been reported that Robinson will take over for Nicholas at Strong Side and Mompremier will take over for St. Louis at Weak Side. Wouldn't be surprised to see McKenzie jump into the mix for starting strongside...
  8. USF will keep the scholarship available to him...
  9. Not complete true!! If you don't start somewhere near the top in the beginning, you're journey up is twice as hard.
  10. They are losing more than half of their starters... basically, it could be a rebuilding year for them. Their offense consisted of handing the ball to Rice and jumping on for the ride...how has that changed???
  11. Great for USF but how is Rutgers not mentioned in the top 25???
  12. Scout.com has DE Darren Powe listed as a verbal commitment. I seem to recall from the D-Line thread that there was some issues as to the validity of this commitment but I believe it Josh that was reporting the issue at that time. I can't check it out right now because the D-Line thread isn't opening for me.
  13. ...and the guaranteed $40 million didn't hurt. Saban's track record shows that he is never satisified.  After a couple of years, other coaches will be making more and Saban will jump ship again for the money.
  14. I saw that plate just two days ago while I was using a gift card to buy some bulls gear... I know that I can't name drop but if you go to the gousfbulls.com website and click on the "gear" tab you get linked to the store. I didn't see the plate on the website but I know they're in at the store.
  15. Looks like Kevin McCaskill is missing from the list...
  16. Quote by: BBS Posted on: Today at 5:14pm McNeese State was the home opener...If it had been the second game of the season, no way as many people would have shown up for a division 2A matchup. Quote by: BBS Posted on: Today at 5:14pm So USF should schedule them as the season opener. No disagreement that competition level is one-sided but as you pointed out, 45K > 26K.  Leaving them on the schedule also is benefitical right now because we definitely looked upon as a team that doesn't travel well. Consider UCF our fan bases' training wheels....it's a short trip for the casual fan. They'll get hooked on the away game atmoshere (like everyone here has that's been to one) and the number of fans that travel will grow.  I know UCF was my first away game and I had so much fun that I dragged some family with me to the bowl game.  My father had a blast there and as soon as the the schedule is posted, he and I are gameplanning a trip to Pitt.  I also have friends that are going with me to the FIU game and I'm already trying to talk up people for a road trip to see Auburn. All it took was for me to finally go to one.
  17. As long as Alabama is still without a coach, I think teams like Oklahoma and Texas may be USF's biggest challenge for Marve.
  18. Posted by: E.T. Posted on: Yesterday at 5:12pm Greg's Blog said a couple of weeks ago that redshirt freshmen Carlton Mitchell, Jason Sherman, Ed Alcin and A.J. Love along with sophmore Jessie Hester were already expected to be pushing the returning players for playing time. Greg also reported that Carlton Hill stated that if he came back it wouldn't be until the fall semester which gives these kids the chance to earn the available spots in spring practices.
  19. Looks like you dropped S Charlton Sinclair after you broke down the recruits by position...
  20. With Alabama still without a coach, I hope USF will start recruiting Taylor heavily!!
  21. scholarships are becoming pretty scarce...and the positions he plays seem to be filling with depth.
