I agree with everything you said but he did not semi break that offense out against SMU in Q’s first game, I was one of the 200 hundred people at the game in the freezing drizzle.  He was playing power and pocket passing and in 50 minutes against a winless team he was skunked, no points, Mike white bailed us out and Andre got away with a push off to win our 4th and final win that season.

We lined up in a ton of pistol and an not ready and obviously distracted Flowers made a ton of wrong reads. The look of the offense was definitely noticeably different compared to what we saw with White

It wasn’t a bad thing at all but the years of pounding away at wanting to be Harbaugh were not a necessary component and they certainly contributed to the failure.

All? It was 2 seasons and one of them was always going to be a lost season due to the talent issue. It's not a coincidence that the team started to excel when all those guys I mentioned starting being upperclassmen...

Cwt is the perfect example of how he made things worse than his talent by completely misusing them. Had he not changed strategy his third year would have been his last and Q in the west coast offense would be in the running for worst in program history and not the best.

CWT only had Flowers because he would play him at QB and they semi broke that offense out when Flowers played in the SMU game, Q's first start. That was before the double secret probation meeting btw. CWT pivoted and it worked why again is that bad? Let's also ignore guys like Adams, Mack, MVS, Nichols, Senat, DJ, Hector etc that he put in the league. Cool story Bro. He rebuilt us with talent

I think we have preformed poorly enough this season that there is enough blame to go around and everyone is right about why we are failing, we really should only be arguing about degrees

Negative ghost rider the talent decline since Taggart left has been similar to what we saw from CJL to Holtz. We've seen this before and it's a long road back. Hopefully we have the right guy again, if not.... CJS like CWT deserves 3 years because this is a massive hole

Maybe so but you are ignoring how simple get Ford the ball in space is a proven easy path to a serviceable offense. We aren’t winning much but do the things you can do well and we will be more successful with this talent than we have been. And McCloud isn’t going to probably ever be Tom Brady but he seems like he can manage a simple offense with shorter passes when things open more up from a successful rushing game plan.

Lots of 1 vs 1 losses are busting up plays right now. You think it's because the coaches aren't putting us in a situation to win. I think it's because guys just aren't ready or able to consistently physically play at this level. You can only coach around so many mismatches

Talent definitely is an issue, it’s the reason this team would have a ceiling of .500 (even CCS with KB, a freshman McCloud and benching Ford most of the season could get to .333) the difference between .500 and wherever we end up definitely has a strong part played by the coaching staff. Last season mostly the same talent rolled ECU and this year they got rolled by the same amount, how did their talent become 200% worse in a single year?

You're ignoring who we lost... Reaves and Livingston were legit ends at this level what we have is not. Macon and stud still were physically much further along than their replacements. Atterbury and Norman for all their faults physically belonged at this level. I could go on....
