  1. Saw her in class today. She is a beast. Think Amarri Jackson but she almost looked stronger.
  2. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/football/ncaa/01/15/bc.fbc.t25.louisville.brohm.ap/index.html Good for the league...a bigger challenge for us. It'll just make our win that much sweeter.
  3. Yes, it was played after the womens game! The fact that they totally blew us off while chanting for it is what got me >
  4. Oh, and he said that Leavitt was pissed at Amarri for putting in the request, because Amarri did it behind his back...lol...but that he has no plans on leaving.
  5. Actually, I might have some serious news. A good friend of mine talked to Amarri Jackson yesterday, and asked when Mike was supposed to get here. Amarri told him that Mike was moving in w/ him on Monday...so even if he dosen't start this semester, he seems pretty committed to coming to USF atleast when he does get cleared... Also, he asked Amarri about his underclassmen draft request, and Amarri said he heard back and was predicted as a third or fourth rounder...
  6. Vote for USF at the bottom of this page: http://sports.espn.go.com/chat/sportsnation/polling?event_id=2664&action=1&question19885=80843 Currently in 4th with 3.4% and 7,104 votes.
  7. USF Spare Tire Cover!! After months of e-mailing the two local stores and the book stores, along with many personal trips to each to request a spare tire cover, one finally came through (located down there on Florida ;-) ). It looks amazing on the Jeep. Many thanks to my g/f for the greatest xmas gift I could have received (toped the new jeep top my family got me).
  8. I would recommend that everyone take the back way. Besides a small few towns we held 70-75mph along w/ the rest of the traffic. Roads are great, no construction, and beautiful scenery. The cotton field and cotton all over the side of the road was interesting...looked like snow at some points. Also, only saw a few cops, all in the small towns, none in the rural areas. There was a huge speed trap set up west bound on I-10 about 30 miles outside of Tallahassee (right after 19 hit I-10).
  9. We had a blast on the drive up today. Came up using the directions that were posted on here yesterday. Stopped at the Florida/Georgia and Georgia/Alabama borders to take some pictures. Might want to take note of several bullet holes in the 'Welcome to Beautiful Alabama' sign...or you might not ;-). If you're not in any hurry, we stopped in Montgomery and checked out the 'Confederate White House' (home to Confederate President Jefferson Davis during the Civil War) as well as their capitol building (the capitol building looks like our current White House, but the actual confederate white house is a small house across 'washington' street...took us awhile before we realized the mistake). Both were very interesting. Plenty of local roadside bbq stands and local mom and pop restaurants to grab some food at. We stopped for lunch at 'Larry's BBQ' right before the Georgia/Alabama border. Incredible chooped pork. With our many stops it took us 11 hours leaving from Crystal River....could easily be done in 8 1/2 to 9.
  10. Just got here. Had the flags flying in the car all day. And put my giant flag up in the Hotel window! 8-) Days Inn off I-20, we've got a few cases of Bud if anyone's around! You cant miss the flag!
  11. Also! Just got into Birmingham tonight. The roads in Alabama are absolutely awful for night driving in the rain, especially within in cities. We stopped in Montgomery and checked out the first Confederate White House and their current capital building on the way up. There are no reflectors in the roads, and hardly any lighting. You cant see the road paint, and on several occasions I found myself driving down the wrong side of the road because I couldn't see the center lines. The highways into Birmingham werent much better, and Birmingham itself has been difficult.
  12. Agreed. I'm starting up tomorrow night (melbourne to crystal river) and then going the rest of the way thur morning. Staying at a cheap days inn and dont think i'll have any internet access....so hopefully they'll announce something today or tomorrow.
  13. There's been a lot of talk on this board about picking a particular lot to tailgate in, but I haven't seen anyone designate a lot yet. So I'm asking someone who has been to this stadium before to please designate a lot...northeast, northwest, north, south, etc.....and then lets spread the word. Personally, I like tailgating in the cold, especially on a clear day! I vote that we find the best looking lot between 7:30-8:00am on the WEST side of the stadium. This will keep the sun hidden behind the stadium for an extra hour or so, making it a nice crisp morning 8-). Lets load the lot we pick up with students and alumni. So...Lot Suggestions? First vote: WEST SIDE
  14. Incredible!! Also put it under 'My Shared' videos on facebook
  15. Just want to say thanks again for the DVD! We played it while camping out the other night, just incredible!
  16. I guarantee that we did not leave our trash there. We went above and beyond to clean up before we left.
  17. I did purchase one companion, and two others in our group purchased atleast one companion. After that we were packing up the tent and grill and trying to get to class (writing this in class...and still smell like raw burgers and bacon grease). But I kept glancing around before I left and there were always people in the companion line...
  18. From the front (#1-9). Got there at 8pm last night, and other groups kept trickling in with tents, cots, sleeping bags, etc. ALL NIGHT. There were about 50 of us that camped in several different groups...very loud, USF chants all night...freezing cold and impossible to catch even 10 minutes of sleep. **** Gator fan showed up...that didn't sit too well with anyone either. Overall an incredible experience...great to be a part of establishing a tradition like this. The line started to grow rapidly around 6:30am, but when I left at 9:15 I had a friend near the back and she was only #280 (with probably 50 people behind her). Overall, I think all 500 free tickets are gonna go (and a lot of people were buying companion tickets as well)...but I thought the demand this morning would be even bigger than it was... See ya'll in Birmingham!! Rob
  19. Saw this on another thread, but it dosen't look like its working anymore. Who's gonna be out there tonight and how many will be with you?? 3 Total + a grill/full tailgate setup
