What's the story on GB? Will he even be healthy enough to play this year? He would be a great backup, instead of relying on another freshman.

I have watched both navy and UAB play. They are real bad. We should whip them.
Navy played Memphis tough.

This feels similar to the Syracuse win. I feel like this could possibly propel USF upwards in a rapid fashion.

Great call, coach. Glad you have balls and went for it. Never change, coach.

I am not worried about Brown at all. I feel like he has a chance to be a 4 years starter at USF and be the catalyst to turn things around.

Calm down. We have WR's with talent. Alabama has elite talent on defense. Wait and see how WR's are doing 3 or 4 games into AAC play before making a judgement.

Are we honestly to believe that they have so much more talent than Florida? Florida gets the same level of recruits as Alabama, or at least in the same ballpark. I seem to remember USF with a legit chance to beat Florida last year with a 1-11 team.
Golesh's boys will come out playing like their hair is on fire.
I don't think I have ever seen a fast 360 pounder.

Perhaps we can surprise like we did last year against Florida and keep it respectable. I think being a 32.5 point underdog seems to be about right, and I think ( hope) we can keep it closer to 25 points.
Either way I don't think we learn a ton from this game, and our season really starts the following week when we get our conference slate of games going.
Yes, it can happen. Does Alabama have THAT much better talent than Florida. Probably not.

Yes, they are bigger than USF... the average weight is heavier than all but one OL on the USF roster.
The average height and weight of the starting offensive line is 6'5, 339 pounds with three starters over 350 pounds — sophomore left guard Tyler Booker at 6'5, 353, freshman left tackle Kadyn Proctor at 6'7, 369, and junior right tackle JC Latham at 6'6, 356
OK I was wrong. I know USF has a big line, I just assumed it was close to Alabama's.
Can they move at that weight though.

Milroe has five giants in front of him...
Is Alabama's offensive line any bigger than ours. Without looking up weights, my guess would be no, they aren't.
Have you looked at the weights of our offensive line?

For another one, Boston College beat Holy Cross by a whopping 3 points.
A 14 point win against a top 25 FCS team is not necessarily indicative of a bad season. More information is needed.

Sounds like Golesh is committed to Brown 100% at this point.
As he should be.

Also, for comparison #9 Tennessee beat Austin Peay 30-13 and #5 Ohio State beat Youngstown State 35-7. Hardly more convincing than USF's win. I wonder if those teams are going bowling.

Too early to say. We competed well with Western Kentucky, who is supposed win CUSA. FAMU is supposed to win about 10 games this year and is ranked in the FCS top 25 poll. We could have a good season.

USF is #1 in the country in offensive plays per game at 95, tied with California.

Does this mean USF only has to finance 175M now instead of 200M?

After one game we are 17th in the nation in total offense yardage and we're not close to last in defense, like we were last year.

A day later, I am a lot more positive than on game day.
WKU is projected to win their league. We beat them in multiple facets. Difference in game is 3 turnovers.
We rushed for almost 400 yards (I thought the lines didn't do anything?)
We ran 95 plays and had 540 yards. The offense this year will be vastly improved. We'll run over 100 plays at some point this year.
Our QB ran for 160 yards. One of the highest rushing games out of a QB not named Quinton Flowers. Brown can be one of our best all time QB's.
The defense was so much better than last year. We held one of last year's top offenses to 465 yards. Got many stops. They had to punt 6 times. How many times did we force 6 punts last year?
The turnovers made it look worse than it was. Despite the offense not being up to speed yet, we still moved the ball. This will end up being one of our best offenses ever.

After the 10th round of expansion, USF left out again.
When will people ever learn. Conferences don't want USF. 3,367 pages should have told you that by now.
Yet, once again, a pointless thread won't die. I give up. Keep on hoping and dreaming of something that will never come.

This depth chart is the kind of clown shoes I would expect from a program that's won like 4-5 games in the last 3 years.
Except other programs release even less information than Golesh. At least he releases some starters, other teams don't even do that.
