    Spending the holidays at home in North Carolina...then traveling down the mountain to Charlotte to cheer on the Bulls!

    Did anyone notice that when Buck was down, they kept playing for another 15-30 seconds? Aren't the refs supposed to blow their little whistles when someone gets injured?

    Sorry to anyone that was offended by me saying the crowd was dead... But do you really expect the players to start performing better if they have no one to perform for? I know that as a SunDoll, we get VERY discouraged if people don't cheer for us. It totally kills our energy and excitement. So I don't blame the basketball team for playing poorly. Why give their all to a crowd of ghosts?

    I doubt it'll snow in Charlotte but then again you never know...I hear it's a mess up there right now in the mountains...gonna be GREEEAT driving up there this weekend in it!

    I think the whole FREE aspect of the game will draw a lot of them...that and the fact that it'll be on espn2 (super excited)

    I'm gonna have to go with UCF...littledrummerboy makes a very good point in that most rivalries are within the same state/proximity. Growing up as a Carolina lover/Duke hater, I think rivalries are more fun when it stays within the state. I also agree with the media helping to make it a rivalry-they are going to play up the War on I4 like crazy!

    Honestly, this year TOTALLY surpassed my expectations. As a transfer to USF, when I asked about their athletics, all I got was, 'ehhhh it's alright." I was expecting maybe 10,000 people at the football games. But a semester into it....I am SO PROUD to say I am a USF Bull!

    Just found out that I DO get to go to the Bowl Game as a SunDoll...I posted somewhere that I wasn't going to get to go at all but it got changed! Thanks to everyone who would have sponsered me...can't wait to see everyone up there!

    ^It's a 10 hr drive that I'm making the 18th and again on the 29th...I'm from 2 hours north of Charlotte. Wish I had the will to do it again but I just don't at this point. Sorry guys.

    Well, I'm not traveling for any of you that were curious...and don't need a sponser because there's no way I could go anyways. Thanks anyway though.

    It's complicated...some HAVE to stay because of the basketball game on the 30th. First our coach said it would be freshman which was perfect for me cause I'm a junior. Then I heard rumors that the non-national part of the team (that would be me) would be the ones staying so that the nationals team could practice up in NC. Sooo I'm hoping I'll find out tonight.

    Sugar, Beech, Appalachian, Hawksnest....all about 2 hrs from Charlotte and trust me, at that time of year the skiing is AWESOME I grew up there, trust me!
