All defense nowadays look to sideline for the calls presnap, specifically safety and LB play for the last 5 years stand out to me and this pre-dates CJS so you can’t blame it alL on coaching

I’m going to take a wild guess and say we get crushed by ECU. Are we allowed to fire him then?
Which assistant would you name for interim? Would they really do any better with this group? What are the financial implications vs waiting til year end?

The week that conference play starts accomplish?? Seriously, why not wait and see how first couple AAC games go, what do you have to lose or accomplish?

I have also watched two games. It's definitely not a gimme... but they haven't looked sharp all season. Their DL isn't that great... Syracuse and UCF both ran for more than 200 yards and FSU ran for 189... all three for more than 5 yards per carry.
If the USF team that played against BYU shows up, it will be a long day. If the USF team that played in Gainesville comes out, USF will win.
Louisville d-line is actually pretty good, they have had tough schedule and if you let Malik get cooking look out

To be fair ... Louisville's running game is 45% Malike Cunningham... and more than 50% in the last two games. He's been sacked 8 times in three games, and thrown three INTs to 1 TD.
UF coaches did not try working out kinks with Richardson ... instead Napier has specifically told Richardson to run less, and called a lot fewer designed QB runs, because they backup situation is a shambles.
Louisville ran the ball an average of 40 times per game and threw for nearly 30... so it's a fairly balanced attack... if USF runs a ball-control offense again, Louisville may not get that many

Thinking of doing a crazy fly in/fly out same day for Cincy... This worked for the Miami Beach Bowl. Do we think the times will be announced next Monday 09/26? Do we know where people are sitting there yet? I shall not eat the spaghetti chilli though...
I went two years ago and was obviously disappointed but i may consider this as well…cinncy is fun city and flights are plentiful…yea skyline chili sucks

I think this where Gerry’s experience comes in big, he has played in these enviroments and even though he wasn’t playing well, kept his composure and led the team

I was one of the ones saying keep the faith and hope coach puts it together this year….but i have a bad feeling about Louisville game, hope I am wrong. That said, the next week vs ECU is more important

Battie should be main guy with Dukes spelling him, use Mangham for short yardage and red zone situations, Dukes is a baller too

It's definitely a trend so good to see it improve week to week.
UL doesn't have as strong a run game as UF but have better passing game...hopefully we get our starting corners back.
I respectfully disagree, i think Louisville has a much better running game….UF coaches took us as a gimme and insisted on trying to work out the kinks with Richardson and passing game, Louisville will run and run often
-
Florida came out trying to establish their passing game with Richardson, if they had stuck to the run the score might have been much worse, Florida is not that good either
-
I dont think we are giving enough credit to our receivers for some of Gerry’s bad numbers, the interception for example i dont think the receiver broke on his route precisely enough and then let the cb swoop in there instead of fighting for it

I have watched two of Louisvilles games, this is no gimme, i wouldnt touch it, very good dline, very mobile qb and good rbs

How about freshman DE Eddie Kelly? He didn’t make any splash plays, but he was visible throughout the night. We may have a good one there!
And he consistently held the edge like a senior, excited to watch his growth

Both starting corners out

How did Cuse beat them 31-7, anyone watch it?

Thinking Dino maybe in for a year at Syracuse

Good stuff!!! There are so many talented players down here in south florida of Haitian descent. Leavitt knew how important Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties were for recruiting, hope the current staff can make some headway here as well

I will immediately book a flight and buy tickets to Louisville game even though my daughters wedding is the following week, we are moving and my wife would give me ton of ****, not a good time for road trip but the UF victory would get me that hyped

So i guess we cant pay it in full in March like i always do? Have to agree to monthly payments or pay in full November?

Off topic but screw Rutgers, now and forever

We are closer than most of our beat down fans over the last five years can get past to see…..i am definitely keeping the faith

I guess i am an eternal optimist or delusional…on offense these long pass plays will start to hit, on defense turnovers can make a huge difference, i see alot more effort out of new dline and lbs compared to last year…..i think we surprise and cover vs florida then louisville will provide some hope….just my two cents call me a homer all u want, we are closer than most want to admit(defense is an issue but aggression and turnovers can make up for that), offense is close

The announcers were saying Marshall had close to 40 transfers/new players….they just beat Notre Dame

Hurricane Ian could postpone the game

Off topic, so i gave away my tickets online to another Bulls fan because I will be in Boone for my daughters wedding….would it be in poor taste to ask for them back if game is rescheduled Lol
