Bullz, true, but when you that game is the difference between being bowl eligible or not (and thus fired or not) most ADs and coaches take the easy way out.

Bishop I agree with you.  Lost 3 verbals, and a guy like Stirrups is not solid and may not qualify anyways.  Am nervous, but have seen the staff close well before and hope for the same now.

Would you schedule a home-and-home with UL if you were a mid-level BCS team?  Go to Pizza-place and lose by 45 and they come to your stadium and beat you by 30.  

Not that I wasnt to agree with the anti-CJL guys, but he is the head coach.  It is his job to get the whole team to function well.  If that means getting rid of the OC or the QB coach or both so be it.

I enjoyed the bowl game.  Majority no profanity where I sat, although there was some profanity, which was stopped when I pointed out the kid.

Amazing they did not kick him off the team until after the bowl game.  Not saying its wrong or right, just amazing.

I guess that's one running quarterback who won a championship.  I thought only the drop-back kind won anything.  

Andre Ware was very critical of the offense.  When CHill came in give him an easy throw.  That option play that NCState read but PJ could not check out of.  After it happened for the 3rd time Ware just says "I guess he does not have any freedom to check out."  A couple other plays when WRs were absolutely uncovered and PJ didn't read it.  That is all coaching.

I thought our fans were louder t for the first quarter and a half despite being outnumbered 8 to 1.   Everytime after that when the offense gave us anything we were loud, but it wasn't often enough.

Marketing should begin this monoth calling all season ticket holders (hire students if needed), and begin the renewal process for next year.  In doing that they should, in a non-pushy way, see if they can upgrade the seats to the next donor level, and also ask if there is anyone else (or someone elses) to whom season ticket information could be sent.  Along with  the information packet would be a cover letter identifying who asked the information be sent.  

This would not be like normal telemerkaters (who I hate) but more of the usual raise money for the school stuff (which calls I have always taken).

With our schedule 8-3 should be the goal.  @Louisville and @ Morgantown will be the toughest games.

Called a great game?  No, called a good game in spurts.

Example, first half Andre picks up 9 on first down.  We are disorganized on 2nd and 1, and call a TO.  Come out of the TO in same formation (bunch with only one WR) and run left for 4-yard loss.  Now 3d and 5 run left again.  Punt.

Receivers coach is questionable IMHO.

I think the kid should go out and compete and do the best he can, that is all he can do.  Shame on the coaching staff for not recruiting kids capable of beating PJ out, and failing to coach PJ up or find what he can do with the ability he has.  

PJ's performance was atrocious, but the OC did not help him out with play calling or put him in situations where he has even a remote shot of being succesful.

It was great.  I came home and watched the tape of the game, and all my 3-year old wanted to do was chant S-O-U-T-H F . . . .
