I've learned that Indian food for 3 straight meals is no longer a good idea.

Keep winning and rankings will resolve themselves.

BTW, the red zone touchdown we got in the first half last week didn't look like a TD to me. Q's elbow was down before the ball crossed the line on 4th down. I don't think it changed the outcome but it's odd watching an offense move pretty well until inside the 10.

If the staff is holding plays back so they don't get on tape that seems short sighted. We're not all of a sudden going to execute plays perfectly that we haven't run all year.

I actually agree ....
Really? The best argument against an OCS is men's basketball. Indian burial grounds.

Given our success in hoops since the beginning of time it seems best to just focus on that.

Nebraska is leaving the B10 money printing press and WVU will be allowed into the academic snobbery that is the B10? Umm no.

If it's not sarcasm, it's just plain ignorance ... many, MANY dumber posts have been made on this forum.
Eveld over BJD comes to mind.

Sorry, but didn't he lose his starting QB to injury? Do you think CCS would be undefeated right now with Kean?
Well Keane would hand off to Tice/DJ 8 times in a row up the middle too, so yes.

Have to say I'm surprised we're 13 in the coaches. I figured in the 18-22 range.

Leaving aside UCF's self interested statements, the engineers that issued the report could have shut the stadium down if they perceived the situation that posed an immediate threat to people using it. If they shut the stadium down it would be better for their lawsuit - "see how bad it is?" Keeping it open and likely having a sell out in November is worse for their lawsuit. The defense will be screaming lack of maintenance and value engineering the whole way.

I call BS on this. If it were inspected every year there shouldn't be any, "life safety" issues that suddenly pop up. So, either it's not inspected every year, or UCF has just been negligent in performing the appropriate maintenance.
My guess is that the life safety issues, nor any of the issues just popped up. Under Florida law you have to file suit for any construction defects within 4 years of when the defect was discovered or should have been discovered. But in no event can suit Ben brought more than 10 years after completion. My guess is ucf filed suit right before Thebes expiration of the 10 year time frame. In short they didn't just discover the defects they are litigating.

Love it. He'll have to pound a few into the middle instead of bouncing out all the time.
Good thing the local teams didn't need a RB.

Must win out and beat UCF. Ucf wont lose a game till they face us.
Then next goal beat western winner.
I'm not sure about that. I watched a little bit the last couple weeks. They trust their DBs a lot. Beating them means a team would have to win 1-1 battles at WR or be able to run effectively. SMU might be able to do the first.
On the other end Navy will be tough although UCF has better athletes across the board. Those are the only 2 possible losses I see for them.

So we've played in Birmingham 2 more times than Alabama since our game there? Who'd have thunk that?

Not sure how playing in a G5 Championship makes us more inconsequential than we already are.
The most we can ever hope to play for as it currently stands is the NY6 "booby prize" which is the epitome of inconsequential.
You think playing in the Peach Bowl against Wisconsin is worse than playing in the "G5 Championship" against San Diego State?

I think the problem is all sports. Its nots cost effective to have a cross country conference. I think a more likely scenario is the American taking the remaining six teams in the Big 12 and have Temple and Tulane bow out of the conference.
More likely that the B12 remnants (Kansas, K State, WVU, Iowa State, Baylor and TCU) invite 4-6 other schools so they don't lose the B12 moniker and contracts. I think they add USF/UCF/Houston/Cincinnati/Colorado State and make a play for BYU.

There will be a drop off in running by the QB, but the passing could actually get better.
The offensive line and receivers need to get better if the QB can't bail out with his legs. They might but just because the ball comes out prettier doesn't mean much if the rest of the guys don't elevate their games.

Sorry to hear that. It's been hit or miss around the 239. Based on what I've seen Marco and the Pelican Bay took it worse in collier. Up in lee county things were worse inland.
