USF has to get rid of the mess that is holtz and his staff

Sorry but no way do we beat syracuse they are starting to get hot now.... they have a offense that will torch our soft defense.

We lose that game and most likely the rest of the games this year.

Most fans don't expect a number 2 raiting or national championship dreams....but competing in the big east

and beating teams like ball st and temple shouldnt be to much

to expect from the football team.

I think he can get things turned around but he has to get rid of Cosh that guy is going to be the death of his head coaching career.

Fitch and the offense has been ok, yeah they do some dumb things but its been the defense that has held this team back.

The way I look at it, we have 2 options here:

A) Buyout Holtz - we'll need a booster to step up and deliver if this is going to happen. I'd personally love to see Skip gone, but I realize the financial hardships that this could bring.

B. New DC - I'm not talking about another Cosh type who has done nothing as a DC and is completely inept to hold that position at ANY level of CFB. I'm talking about a Wally Burnham type... somebody that can mildly excite the fanbase and get us back to being a defensive minded team that punches people in the mouth.

It's time to revamp the defensive staff if Skippy is going to stay.

I would agree with those two options and most likely it would be B. Cosh has to be replaced with a much better DC if we are going to have skippy for a two or three more years.

We are losing games to ball state and temple... this is a bad football team right now. Sure things could turn around but I dont think that will happen with our current coaches.

Only way holtz turns this around is with a high quality DC hire.... Cosh is a freaking joke I could do better than him.

This team with a good defense would be 4-2 most likely.

Unfortunately Holtz has tarnished what had been perceived as a plum job with high growth potential and made it tougher to find a good replacement.

I don't think so... this team looks really bad that falls onto coaching.

USF still looks like a good program to coach....located in florida, nice facilities, raymond james.... one coach isn't going to destory USF football.

Unless we can't get rid of him and he stays around for 5 more years. Then , he will have more than enought time to destroy USF football.

I don't see him staying for 5 years our AD isn't that stupid but then again I do wonder....
