Does anyone know if we are going after Bo Williams or Enrique Davis. It seems that this year with the superstar rbs Devine, Allen, Rainey, and Easterling that we would have a solid chance of landing one of these guys. Also any news on Dion LeCorn, and has the coaching staff decided to cool off on Voss?

MikeB, I see from your sig you may be into sea kayaking. (way off subject i know, but this thread is going nowhere fast) I just bought a kayak, and of course the Keys are a great place for it.

Ok well now we know that Alwan Lee is ineligible. Anyone know any other news about eligibility, I know that Josh has posted a lot about this, and I dont want anything in depth or verbatim, but if anyone knows anything from other sources this would be a good place to post it.

I wonder if Bailey could make a good lb or de? In any case, if the offense looks like it did last year, there could be some changes. Personally I am rooting for Smith to surprise me and really turn it on this year, as I feel that our roster (heavy on speed, small quick linemen, and big fast recievers) is perfectly suited for the spread, especially when you factor in the three athletic qbs.

I was going to include Ketchel, but I dont see big numbers unless we get a new offensive scheme, or he moves outside and becomes a big possession reciever (and why not, sure hes a white guy, but 6'5 and running a 4.7 is a good combo for a college wr. Aston Samuels looked really fast on the video I saw, and if he's as tall as listed he could bulk up and contribute somewhere. Really I have only been following recruiting since last year, and I dont know all that much, I listed this years prospects mainly from video i have seen on sunshine preps. Any idea which of them are interested in the bulls?

Acclaimed JC/Xfer: Amp Hill, but Denson was a big timer out of high school too i think, plus he was really advertised as a big time player by the coaches last year. Out of Juco, Hall and Harry. Acclaimed HS: (Kids who chose USF first, ie not Platt etc.) CHill and Peyton. I still think if Peyton had the right work ethic and attitude he could have been an all-american type player. We'll see how it goes at Akron for him. Successfull JC/Xfer: Obviously Hall, Mitchell was before my time. Hopefully Amp will give Andre a battle. Successfull HS: Blackwell. I dont think he was highly recruited or anything either. JC/Xfer Bust: Harry obv was a bust. Searcy is up there. Denson at QB. HS Bust: Seems like the two McColloughs were pretty much busts. Peyton last year though his freshman year he was a top deep threat. Jake Griffin needs to step up or he may be next in line. Jarriett Bouie has had injury problems. 06 players i like: Jerrel Young (this guy's stats are awesome) Sabbath Joseph (really just the name is cool), Craig Marshall and Aston Samuels. 05 with potential: Taurus Johnson. On a related note, I think that some of last years freshman letter winners should redshirt this year, esp Jessie Hester, since wr is so deep and the guy needs to seriously start eating. He seems to run good routes and be relatively polished though. Kids I hope look our way this year: Armando Allen, Raishawn Wilson, Stephen Garcia, Alton Voss, Deonte Thompson, Tarus Mckinly, John Brown, Ronnie St. Fleur, Jessie Julmiste (ran a legit 4.3, not a QB) and Demarcus VanDyke. Also, is there any news on the rb from NJ?

A couple thoughts/ questions about the football roster that i'd like to hear your opinions on... I feel like our db's are really stacked, and that our linebackers lack any real depth, so do you think that c. williams would be better off putting on 15 lbs or so and moving to wlb? It seems like with dv, ty roberts, gachette, gregory and jerrel young that we are more than set at safety. If Hill does have to redshirt this next year, who will be # 3 qb? Why do they coaches insist on rotating the wideouts so often. It seems to me that this prevents the recievers from getting in the flow of the game, and keeps the offense from developing any go to guys. I know the coaches have their reasons, i just wonder if its that they prefer the rotation, or that no recievers have become clear cut starters the last two years. Any clue on whether usf is in the hunt for any big name rb's this year : armando allen, jamaar taylor, or enrique davis?

I personally wouldnt mind seeing some "shocking" new Nike getup in the style of the UF or VaTech unis. I think it would really help sell our image as the "new wave" school. Remember, the only reason the teams wear those jerseys is that the players (and recruits) like them.

I was thinking today that if nike really is doing the fb uniforms, that they could possibly be in the same vein as those hideous UF and VT getups. But after a little thought, it seems to me that those same unis, except with usf colors, could actualy look pretty sweet, esp. if they made the jerseys green, with gold sleeves, except they seperated the green and gold with a thin line of white piping which extended down the side of the jersey. Hard to pictre maybe, but i dont know how to use paint as well as sc does.
