BullDoug, JD is a Junior. We will have her next year. Also, another point...she is our best player and she sat out a lot of the game. We played very hard and tried to save her...i think she got spooked out sitting. IDK..either way, great job ladies!!!

Smazza, While I appreciate your compliment I think, I can assure you that Brandon is and always has been my upgrade. The reason we can't throw down 2 plane tixs and a hotel suite is because not two days before the NCAA announcement, he bought me two first class tickets, a hotel suite overlooking Times Square, two front row tickets to see the Lion King on Broadway on my birthday, and we will be getting there in a limousine. He got me this as a gift to celebrate our anniversary and because of my wonderful boyfriend, I will be turning 21 in the Big Apple, something that has always been a dream of mine. I promise you, this trip cost way more than the NCAA tourney. This thread was more to complain that nothing had been done to help subsidize the costs for students to go. The fact that they make the announcement 4 days before people would have to leave is a little ridiculous. In my opinion, preparations should have been made in advance to offer student packages just in case we got in. We need student support there. I am still considering making the drive up, but we will see. I am a special girl, and anyone, future dr. or not should treat me as such. I am curious to know what you would offer me Smazza, besides cynicism and annoyance? I will let you know when I am interested, but don't hold your breath. I intend to keep this one thank you.

I am really disappointed.  Our women's team finally makes it to the NCAA Tourney and I can almost guarantee 0 student attendance.  It seems that there wasn't enough interest, so they didn't put a package together.  Not only that, but they didn't even ask the donors if they would be interested in sponsoring a student because again there wasn't enough interest. I know there are students like myself who go to every sporting event and who are the biggest supporters for USF who are dying to go. I wish I could just throw down the money to go and support them.  I am working on going..but a hotel is $100.00 a night and the flight is $300.00.  Plus the tourney tix are $30.00 a piece.  Would anyone be interested in sponsoring an avid Bulls fan to go???  We have to have some showing of support up there....   :-/

College: University of Tennessee  ( I grew up there and I love the Women's Basketball program especially, then comes football. I love the VOLS!!) NFL: My dad worked ground crew for the Atlanta Falcons..so my family roots for them.  I follow them, but I like the Bucs.  I am more into College sports right now. NHL:  I love the LIGHTNING!!  I wish I had money to go to more games...but I love hockey!  GO BOLTS! MLB:  RAYS!  Ha yeah right...sorry...once again, my dad was ground crew for the Atlanta Braves..the old school braves in the 90's...the good ones!! lol  So, i root for them occasionally.  I have all kinds of autographed stuff from that series of players. BUT, as always...BULLS ARE NUMBER 1!!!!!

You know, there is only ONE team that went winless in the Big East in the past 25 years, MIAMI! Not USF! Look at Miami's prgram now. These things take time. WE are headed in the right direction and I am PROUD to be a BULL!!!

Gathering for Drinks isn't unfair to those of us youngins, but going to a place that is only 21 and up is unfair. I was so disappointed at Charlotte to be turned away. HOWEVER, the big 2-1 comes this summer for me so after that, i could care less!! lol GO BULLS!!! ;D

If you have $2000 laying around, you can send it my way. I go to every sporting event on campus, but I am working my way through school and money is tight. I might not be able to go anymore because I have got to find a third job. Don't throw money away to make a point...send it to me! ;D lol

Cmon Ya'll, we gotta get out there and support our Bulls Wednesday!  This guy is an a-hole! Anyhow my friend Eric who goes to the University of Connecticut was listening to Joe D'Ambrosio on WTIC 1080 (some general Sports/News Station up there)and when the conversation was going towards UConn finishing the season and their remaining schedule, The host's comments as well as Jim Calhoun's comments, went something along these lines:  (I am paraphrasing the comments) Coach Calhoun: South Florida,well, we just hope not to get anybody hurt in that one, they're really kind of a formality...we have to play them, they're in our conference. We just want to come out of there healthy and to get ready for the Big East Tourney in New York. (again, I'm paraphrasing) Joe D'Ambrosio: Aren't you worried, considering in recent years they've knocked off ranked teams down the stretch. Coach Calhoun: (seeming iritated that a question was pushed further about a 'cellar-dwellar') Frankly, they are a non issue, we will probably have about 3,000 fans travel for that game, and correct me if I'm wrong, but don't they average a little under 4,000 per home game.  It will be like playing in a neutral arena.  Considering they have been eliminated from any Tournament (even the NIT) their fans will not show, and if their trip to Providence is any indication, their players will barely make the trip.  Quite frankly, I'm not sure if they belong in the Big East, but that's not my call, that's Mike Trangese(Big East Commisioner).  Again, this was me paraphrasing an excerpt from a radio broadcast in Connecticut, but still.  If this is the lack of respect we are getting nationally.  I understand that we are winless in the Big East, and that we have a third year coach with a program that has few scholarship players, but NOBODY is going to talk that kind of **** and copme into our house and try to piss on us.  Screw the Huskies.  What makes it hurt even more, is that they beat us at football this year also and took us out of Big East Championship contention.  We need to rally everyone we have and get out there on Wednesday and make it a miserable night for them. They might beat us, but we won't go down without a fight!!  GO BULLS!!

I have always said this! I tried to get Brandon (FazaUSF) in for a game at the beginning of the season. Even student companion tickets are $20!! It's no wonder we are having trouble. Apparently though, they are selling, it's just the season ticket holders don't show. But the upper levels are always empty. I wouldn't pay the same price as a football game! No way!

well its not the BUCS....I just want to see our Bulls have a large enough following so that businesses don't feel the need to have to share space. In the past we haven't been and business that relied soley on Bulls Gear would have failed. Bulls Outfitter is giving it a shot and prices will be competitive. P.S.- Don't knock other businesses who are at least trying to support Bulls Country. We are not trying to go against them, we are trying to contribute to the same cause! GO BULLS!!
