  1. Why does the Coach wait until we are deep in the hole before having PG pass to Peyton? The guy is tremendous. Although Hall can run with the ball, Peyton was there for the long passes. I think we would fair better if he was given more play time. That's only my opinion, but based upon what I have seen on the field.
  2. No hypertension isn't something to take lightly, but once diagnosed it can be successfully treated. Thank goodness.
  3. Don't get your drawers in an uproar! Ignore! They don't know anything anyway. GO BULLS!!!
  4. Say hello to Belmont for us transplanted New Yorkers ;D
  5. One good thing Coach about having had the appendectomy...you'll never have to go through it again! Get well soon.
  6. As I said earlier, she had a lot of growing to do, but the future looks good. The fact that she hasn't beaten Annika yet is not a reason to slap her down. She may have played on a course she knows, but she still had to make the shots. I maintain that I think she will turn out to be a very special player. That, of course, is my opinion only.
  7. The key word in this thread is "potential". This girl has it beyond belief. 14-years-old and she betters Annika in a men's tour event, just missing the cut by 1. She made some fantastic shots. She isn't as good as she is going to be a few years down the road, but she is darn good right now. She didn't make the cut at the Sony Open but she finished ahead of: John Cook, Tom Pernice, Jr., Scott Hoch, David Peoples, Steve Flesch, Chris Smith, Adam Scott, Notah Begay III, Craig Stadler, Skip Kendall, Matt Kuchar, Jeff, Sluman, just to name a few. I think the girl is definitely showing potential.
  8. I firmly believe that Pete should not be allowed back in the game as a manager, scout or any other capacity. However........ Going by the criteria for the Hall of Fame, he does merit being there as a player. I hate the fact that he bet on baseball. Did he do it as a player? Did he influence the outcome of games while a player? If he did, then no he shouldn't be allowed to be in the HOF. If, however, he was betting after he stopped playing, then he should be in the HOF. That's only my opinion. :-*
  9. I remember seeing Tug play at Shea Stadium. He was great entertainment, and I believe he exemplified the best in baseball. He will be missed, at least as an example for the young players to emulate.
  10. How USF became known is fascinating. Thanks for the info Gary. Personally, I agree with you....Raymond James is an awesome venue to play in. If USF ever does build it's own "on campus" stadium it has to at least equal Ray Jay.
