You know I just want to take a sec to tell you guys how much I miss the G&G guys (remember the towel boys)! My close friends took over the job ( you may have seen them, the fat one and the skinny one, Sorry Bishop) when the previous ones graduated. They did a great job and spent a lot of time walking around the stadium and meeting with kids and doing a lot of thinks outside of football. Unfortunately it didn't last. I just want to commend them for their spirit and if the old school boys are reading this and I know you are, you need to try and bring this back, Don't let your legacy die. People appreciated you guys because you were doing it when NO ONE ELSE WAS!

Ok Professabull - and I wonder why our kids aren't getting a good education ?  CEASE his opportunity ?  WOW- Poll like this shows no class. Glad to see someone is actually reading what I write. Windbane I have nothing personal against the comments you have stated pertaining to this topic. The post asked how many, I voted three. Instead of remaining anonymous and acting like a coward I was OPEN. Should I just not post next time? What do you want to hear from me? As far as getting "joy" I've stated several times that this is all unfortunate that I hope this doesn't happen again. I would love to see people turn around and not make the same mistakes (especially young adults playing for USF). As far as your analogy I don't know why you are presenting one to me, I'm not the one making analogies here. Crucify the one who posted the thread not me, crucify the ones making analogies. READ EVERYTHING I WRITE! I don't agree with the fact that there was a poll conducted but there was & I voted, SUE ME. I also don't agree with the fact that people want to sweep this issue under the rug. IT SUCKED LOSING PONTON WHEN WE NEEDED HIM! The message has to be sent to these kids though, I HOPE he got the message.

My initial thought was, "wow are these scare tactics?" I've done nothing legally wrong here nor have I personally "smeared" someone's reputation. I can't help but laugh at comments pertaining to my comments. There is no validity in it. At least I'm speculating on things based upon prior information provided by the public media. Sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner S.Bien I was busy; teaching class, tutoring below average students for the FCAT, covering another class (because their is a sub crisis in Hills Count) and coaching tennis to kids who didn't grow up in a country club town. But wait you know all this, why am I explaining myself to you, you seem to know exactly who I am and every move I make at DA WOOD. I should be so careful what I say and do, my intentions are so evil. You may call me to the office and tell me my job is on the line. You are seeing my every move, you are a student in my class, no you are a teacher I work with, no you must be the principal, no you must be the one who was there teaching my ethics course. You still haven't answerd my question...WHO ARE YOU!? I work 12 hour days and how I deligate my business throughout the day is of none of your concern. The comments I make on this board are to be debated and I know that before I post them. I'm not looking for shock value, I'm expressing my opinion. Why is it so wrong for me to say that PONTON could be the next to go. He was the one who got suspended for the use of POT right? Is that some kind of secret or are you just that nieve? OF COURSE IT IS SPECUALTION! WHAT ELSE WOULD IT BE! based upon his prior history and what just happened to Julmiste one can SPECULATE that Ponton COULD be next. I really hope the kid has learned his lesson, I would love nothing more than to see Ponton on the field making plays.

S. Bien I never accused a kid of anything. The only one making accusations here is you, against me. These kids have damaged THEIR reputations and that their doing. The question asked in this post can only be answered with specualtion not accusation. I voted 3 and stated who those three COULD be. I have no problems with your comments concering who I am. Attack my reputation all you want. I know who I am and what I do. I have stated nothing on this board that would "be very detrimental" to my career. I don't see you identifing yourself, who are you?

Speculating as to which kids would be kicked off the team for drugs or grades was never an ambition I held for this board or in my own personal life.  Neither did I but the topic arose.

Oh and by the way, what ever I have to say I will say it openly. That was the whole purpose of becoming a member of this board. I wanted to be able to express my opinions on USF athletics OPENLY. I enjoy the debate and I'm sure when you created this board you had the same ambitions.

PB...FYI...CJL did not kick Julmiste out of the program. Julmiste was kicked out of the program because per USF ATHLETIC Dept RULES, where it states that if ANY USF Athletes in ANY sport fails 3 drug tests, you are immediately kicked out said program. Believe Windbane (or name like that) was trying to make the point earlier in the thread to you. Now CJL can kick a player out of his program for ANY reason...and could of done that same for Josh...by not letting him enroll at USF because of his prior arrest...not allowed him back on the team after he was kicked off because of the theft case...and could of kicked him off after his first sign of drug use (before his first test), then could of done the same after his first positive drug test...or even after his 2nd failed drug test, but never did. Ummm...still stand by MY opinion. What is YOUR opinion on the topic and not your opinion about my opinion

Windbane no one WANTS players kicked off. Especially good ones. Julmiste and others before him have made some serious mistakes, they now have to deal with it. My answer was three before I even knew Julmiste was out... Julmiste Ponton And a very small prediction of Ford based upon academic history but I really think this kid will cease his opportunity.
