I know... we build a path with cobblestones and have a pen of bulls... then our visiting fans have to enter the stadium while USF fans cheer from the the sides, behind some fences.

Then the official nickname could be Tamplona.

Yup. Tamplona, where the bulls win. Now our onfield performance needs to follow that motto. 🤷‍♂️🤘

And have been plugging away a tad bit longer than we have ... basketball since 1901, football 1895.

Our relative youth shouldn't preclude us from having been more consistent in sports. See exhibit A out east. We had a series of bad hires and fell asleep at seriously investing in athletics.

It was actually exciting to watch Big East football, while I have to force myself to get excited about watching AAC football. This one is pretty easy.

I am definitely in the same boat as you when it comes to watching AAC football. And it is going to get even more boring in 2023 in my opinion.

Hmmm, must just be me then. I watch USF football for USF. Although we've been losing most games the last decade or so, I can still watch my alma mater play and still feel excited.

It's too bad that it appears to be such a chore to watch AAC games for some of our "fans." Maybe a few extra cold beers or a strong espresso shot (or 10) can make things more exciting.

Yes he has.   2021 conference and regional championships.   2017 and 2018 seasons as well.

We can thank coaching adrenaline, Mark Kingston for 17 & 18. Based on how 22 went, we got hot in 21. Can Mohl get some consistency hot sauce going? I'm not sure.

All goes back to the point, it's not who you get to commit, it's who shows up on campus that counts. I can't give any of our coaches props for getting a guy who's going to go in the draft and sign. We're just his backup/bargaining chip in negotiations. That goes for everyone, not just Mohl.

And Mohl still hasn't shown he can clean up our persistent fielding issues, or that he can put together a decent and deep pitching rotation.

Love it.  Or clear the field completely and seal off all the tunnels and just have no one on the field area except for the our BULL and the other team's mascot.  Ole!

The matador would have to be in the opposing team's colors and would also have to fake die somehow. Gotta do an opposite Pamplona play here because here the Bulls win! 🐂👍🤘

The only two teams that are at least “somewhat” acceptable to me are UAB (I like their comeback story coupled with our basketball history together) and Rice (Top 20 university in the nation on academic quality and have a long football tradition…although over the last 20 years it’s been mostly bad).

Meh. We just need to win this reconstituted conference many times over in all sports. Get it in gear, and just go!

There were a few injuries beside Jasiak, but he was a big one.  It's tough to take your Friday night starter out of your rotation and still compete as a mid-major.

This still doesn't address the fielding and defense issues. Kingston was a shot in the arm for this program.

I'm not so sure about Mohl. This upcoming season is put up time for him, I think. Absent last season's hot streak, what else does Mohl point to as clear evidence of his success here?

    Ok, I'll say it.

This doesn't scream 20+ wins to me.

A lot of people hyping high school recruiting⭐'s - that is nearly as irrelevant then as it is now.

I'll be hoping for the best.

Basically, another totally new team that has to figure out how to gel together. I still think we have too many slasher SG/Fs that don't shoot consistently well from the perimeter.
