  1. Optimism is always welcomed and often in long supply during the early weeks. Hope you’re right.
  2. Agree on both fronts. Was unlikely to happen as we reflect retrospectively. Also agree that a new coach deserves time. The dream sequence of attention (eye balls), general USF relevance and team performance would have been fun. I’m likely just suffering from impaired decision making, with a new world view that would highly prioritize bad teams and relevance over bad teams and irrelevance.
  3. I was at the game yesterday watching a team I love. Someone referenced Colorado winning and I started thinking through how different that game, the number of fans, the preseason and our likely next 3 years would be if that dream sequence had come true. Many seem to hate him, but Colorado won 1 game last year. They may only win 1 this year, but the feeling is so different. Hiring the right coach changes everything.
  4. I can’t get to the game this week. 2 tickets and parking for anyone who promises to use, cheer and keep from making a clown post on this forum afterwards, win or lose
  5. I’ve got 2 club tickets in 110 with parking in lot D if anyone can use today.
  6. Pelphrey is the best candidate on the short list, in my opinion. Up here in Wilcat Country (Lexington, KY), many have speculated that he's on UKs "watch list" for consideration should UK continue to fail to meet expectations (Final Four EVERY STINKING YEAR).
  7. Can you believe that I have great seats for this game and will have to miss it secondary to a planned business dinner. This game is going to be GREAT.
  8. I'm not sure about the Leavitt component, but most of the post voiced exactly what I was feeling. I thought last night was ridiculous from start to end.
  9. All of this is good to hear. I just shiver every time I hear some other uninformed individual compare us to the U. As long as we act like pros, the "look" will fail to matter.
  10. It's nice to see a well researched article from somebody outside of Tampa. I agree with you guys; it was fair, and accurate.
  11. I've loved this kid from day one, and though he has clearly showed his merit and worth on the field, I am most proud of the way he seems to carry himself off the field. His parents have done a nice job with him.
  12. An interesting point....and likely correct. Well played smazza
