  1. Tell me what your expectations for this year were to determine that it was a failure! Your only way to SUCCEED is firing the coach? I believe you are a lawyer? Did you walk out of the day you graduated high school and start practicing law? No you went to undergrad, law school, etc. Same thing this Bulls program is doing!!!!!
  2. It takes a little bit of time to recruit the same as USC, Miami etc. Every year we get more and more recruits that would have never ever ever thought about coming here a couple of years ago. You can't expect after 4 or 5 years in D1 to be able to get any and every 4 and 5 star recruit that those schools get. Leavitt and crew are doing an outstanding job!!!!!!!! Wake up and have some realistic expectations!
  3. Don't know if this is new news or not but Hernandez wasn't the only scholly pulled back. USF recruiting has more options Posted January 26, 2006 by Brett McMurphy Looking for more evidence how far the University of South Florida has climbed among the ranks of the nation’s college football programs? Just look at USF’s decision to tell Naples OT Hector Hernandez that the Bulls were rescinding their scholarship offer. Hernandez had a USF scholarship - as long as he didn’t visit Louisville this weekend. But Hernandez felt he needed to visit Louisville, where he said he has an offer. So USF decided to go in another direction. Call it a game of recruiting chicken. This happens all over the country. The point is USF’s recruiting base is now strong enough where it can “throw back the smaller fish.†That’s how far the program has come. Coming off its first bowl trip and in the Big East, USF can be more selective and apply more pressure to recruits, if needed - just like every other BCS team. Hernandez isn’t the only one out of USF’s picture, two other players who were reported as earlier USF commitments also won’t sign - St. Petersburg LB Robert Spann and Orlando Edgewater DT Justin Jenkins.
  4. So did Chamberlain WR Edner Alcin! Wow great day for the Bulls. 2 3-star recruits. Hopefully that might shut Smazza up for a day or two!(Probably not)
  5. Alright already. Let's remove this one from the board. Ever since Katie removed her posts from this thread, it has sucked! ;D
  6. There are only so many scholarships available. This guy was not 100% committed. They needed this scholarship for a player that was 100% coommitted. I don't see the problem. This guy on Wed could have changed his mind and by not being able to offer the other player, we could have lost both!!!! Don't see any problem in this whatsoever.
  7. And I am sure when that day does come you will be complaining about something else. I feel we did carry some momentum over from last year. You still keep forgetting we have been missing three players that were counted on to contribute! One is back and if you can't tell the difference the last 3 or 4 games then you are clueless. Imagine if the other 2 were back! There is nothing we can do this year to change our situation. Start focusing on the positives and then maybe you will start seeing what the majority of us our seeing!
  8. Recruiting rankings are for losers! Sing a different song! Lets see how Old Miss does this year! According to you they should go to a BCS bowl because they are so high in the recruiting rankings!
  9. You are one subborn SOB! The minutes I quoted for Avg. per game is only CONFERENCE GAMES!!!!!!!!!! You idiot! I will copy and paste below one last F-----g time! 10. Per NFL rulebook. the third QB rule works this way: On game day each team gets to activate 45 players and designate a 46th player the emergency qb. If the emergency qb enters the game before the 4th quarter, then the first two quartebacks are not elligible to play in the game again. A few years back there was a game between the redskins and eagles where the first two redskins quarterbacks were knocked out of the game early. However, there was a chance that one one them would be able to return to the game. If they were to use thier emergency qb, the other two quartebacks would not be able to return. Instead, they let Brian Mitchell (running back/ return man) play qb for a possession. He managed a pretty long TD drive.
  11. Yes it was Syracuse! The amount of minutes for Syracuse against all those teams was the same against us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FACT!!! I already showed you the proof! If you think not, show me your proof. I am done with you! Wake up and look at the stats!
  12. Fair Expectations is your problem! If you would stop complaining and realize that our team is playing pretty **** competitive against top 25 teams is remarkable! Did you really think we were going to beat some or any of these teams seeing the way this program was left in shambles 3 years ago! Plus the bad luck of 3 players that were counted on to contribute to be hurt. Yes we care about winning! But you don't give up on your coaches and players when they are down! You stand behind them!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Dude, all the stats we are quoting are from Conference games only!!!!!!!!!!!! They played the same amount of minutes against us as they did against Notre Dame, Cinn, Conn and Nova. Case closed!
  14. Thank you!! This Rueben guy is the one smoking something! Get out of your denial! Our team is not world beaters, but they are definetly not terrible like you want to think! Back you team no matter what! That is the definition of a REAL BULLS FAN!
  15. Devendorf played 22 minutes against us and is averaging 23 min/game in conference. McNamara played 38 minutes against us and is averaging 38/game in conference. Tell me how they played different minutes than against any of the other conference teams? SHOW ME! Granted we are not good enough this year to probably beat any of these Big East teams, but we are indeed competitive and no they are not playing any less amount of minutes from their starters! Sorry ! I think if you look at all the starters of all the teams we played against all the minutes against the rest of the league, you will see no difference!! Your point has no ground to stand on!
  16. It's an emergency QB rule. Every teams designates an Emer. QB prior to every game. That person always dresses but if he comes into the game the QB's that are on the roster cannot come back in the game if the Emer. QB enters the game.
  17. I agree, I remember hearing his current coach say that he could start for any D1 school right now. I guess there is something to this story that has never been made public.
  18. Yes, I would follow and support the team of where I lived at the time. You can still be a follower of you original hometown team, but don't come to our city and bash our home team! Just like JG said, if Miami was sooooo great, you should have never have left for any reason! But still glad you are a Bulls fan! ;D
  19. No other D1 school offered him either so something must be up with him if every other school passed him up!
  20. Where in this article does it say we are giving him a scholarship? Don't see that anywhere. Just because he is transferring here doesn't mean we are giving him a scholarship.
  21. Here is the details I got when I asked. It's at the Hilton and is from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Included is open bar (liquor, beer, wine), heavy hor d ouevres, etc. Dress attire is casual to cocktail - it's up to you! We'll have a live band as well
