Ok, you guys are right now go strap on a jersey with another mans name on it and live vicariously though their accomplishments and complain if/when they do not do enough to make you feel like a man. I had this all wrong, give me a pill with that brain retardant that your DRs prescribed and I'll join your club.

I am not against keeping score, but winning and losing is a fleeting high/low. Look at the Gators basketball championship last year or the Bucs SuperBowl win (see 90% of Buc fans and their feelings toward Gruden now). They are great moments but they are just moments and they pass by very quickly.
If you spend your life chasing those thrills (in anything sports, work, ect.) and are miserable when you cannot obtain them you are little better than a junkie looking for a fix. Its only a game and I appreciate a coach that tries to build a program the right way and teaches his players more than just how to play basketball.

Does winning and losing basketball games mean that much to you in your life? CRM is a good man and he is building a solid program that will turn the young men in his care into good men. Character and discipline are more important than Ws and Ls. I still believe he will turn the program around but it takes time and I think that you will find that a MTV, instant gratification winning program will leave a sour taste in your mouth eventually. Grow up and see college athletics as more than a way to elevate your own egos.

I said BEFORE this season that 2007 we have a good shot to win a Big East title a a stud RB will make that even more realistic. Need to work the LB recruiting trail as well, but 2007 is going to either be magical or miserable.

The guy has got to rebuild his credibility.

Even so, why would you risk it when the chance that you will sway him are so slight. (unless you are a pubescent girl offering to get "crunk" with him)
Its silly but if you still think its a good idea, just weigh the risk/reward issue.

Geez, ESPN had a USF ass kissing party all night. I'm sorry you missed it but I could not believe how much positive coverage USF got last night.
From Aesop's Fables: The Man, The Boy, and The DonkeyA man and his son were once going with their Donkey to market. As they were walking along by its side a countryman passed them and said: “You fools, what is a Donkey for but to ride upon?â€Â
So the Man put the Boy on the Donkey and they went on their way. But soon they passed a group of men, one of whom said: “See that lazy youngster, he lets his father walk while he rides.â€Â
So the Man ordered his Boy to get off, and got on himself. But they hadn't gone far when they passed two women, one of whom said to the other: “Shame on that lazy lout to let his poor little son trudge along.â€Â
Well the Man didn't know what to do, but at last he took his Boy up before him on the Donkey. By this time they had come to the town, and the passersby began to jeer and point at them. The Man stopped and asked what they were scoffing at. The men said: “Aren't you ashamed of yourself for overloading that poor Donkey of yoursâ€â€you and your hulking son?â€Â
The man and Boy got off and tried to think what to do. They thought and they thought, till at last they cut down a pole, tied the Donkey's feet to it, and raised the pole and the Donkey to their shoulders. They went along amid the laughter of all who met them till they came to Market Bridge, when the Donkey, getting one of his feet loose, kicked out and caused the Boy to drop his end of the pole. In the struggle the Donkey fell over the bridge, and his fore-feet being tied together, he was drowned.
“That will teach you,†said an old man who had followed them:
“Please all, and you will please none.â€Â

Bowling Green vs USF
He has always been a USF supporter and is a good guy.

Great hitter, sorry to see him miss out on the bowl game.
Thanks for being a Bull and good luck down the road!

Not to be negative, but how much deeper are we going to get? Texas A&M-Corpus Christi is a not nearly at the level of a Big East team and I am afraid neither are the Bulls. Its going to be another rough year but I still believe in CRM.

I used to think that the 2002 team was better than the 2005/2006 teams but now I know better. There is no way that those teams could have beaten UWV. It would have taken a miracle and this team did it playing an average game on offense.
The upside to THIS team in the next three years is unbelievable. Grothe will make a mockery of all the USF passing records. Selvie will be a top 10 pick if he continues to develop at a pace even close to what he has in the last year and I guarantee there are freshman that chipped in this year that will become USF legends.
This teams speed and talent are friggin ridiculous and if I ever hear anyone complain about the recruiting again I will dismiss anything they ever say again.
I am still in love with the teams from 1997-2002. Without those guys none of this would have been possible. Barnhardt, Dixon, Mitchell, Henry, Hippolyte, Dell, Rubin, Royal and countless others will always be amazing but the depth on the team now is head and shoulders above any team we have ever had.

Delay? I thought that was great turnaround time. Thanks again.

I got a little inside info for you guys. The editor at the Times wanted to front page tease the UF?FSU game but relented to A LOT of pressure from the other editors at the Times who said that the Bulls were "their team." I loved to hear it and thought you would like to know that we have inside operatives.

That was awesome. I think that should become a new tradition . . . win or lose.
What a joke!!!!

When was the last time USF beat UL in basketball, at home, on the road or at a neutral venue?
