UCLA’s next NCAA tournament hurdle is USF’s Courtney Williams
By Jack Wang, Los Angeles Daily News
It’s no secret what makes South Florida go.
Courtney Williams is the nation’s 10th-leading scorer, a 5-foot-8 guard who can single-handedly change the flow of a game. She is coming off one of her most prolific performances of the season, pouring in 31 points to break her own school postseason record. And despite her size, she averages more than eight rebounds per game, and leads her team with 29 blocks.
That’s the player that the UCLA women’s basketball team will try to slow down on Monday night at Pauley Pavilion.
“She’s like the Energizer bunny,” Cori Close said. “She can go and go and go.”......... Read More

Good read but can't expect more neutrality from a homer paper!

Is there anywhere that shows who had to travel furthest for their 1st and 2nd round games?
-
I'm not worried. We have been a second half team (When we aren't playing UCONN). Have to see Jenkins get her offensive board groove back for some easy put backs. Also would love to see Ferreira get some better shots at the basket (She's been playing timid).

Would like to see Laksa get her HOT on from the outside or even 10 foot jumpers

Gotta love even Charlie Creme's surprise!!
-
So, follow this with me.
We beat #22 CSU, to go on to #10 UCLA (In California) then to #7 Texas, and then on to #1 UCONN In Connecticut
Wow, what a ladder to climb!!!
-
So here is a silly question... We were ranked 21/20 at the end of the year by AP/Coaches polls, Yet in the Tournament, we are matched against the 22/22 ranked CSU Rams?
In anyone's book how does that make sense?
Is there any other ranked team below us or even near us that has a tougher (according to ranking) first round game? Not that I've seen
-
Is this tournament being played in GA? Never mind... just read... Mexico.....
Yeah, but I assume that placing second will still be a great accomplishment considering there are quite a few teams ranked above us that we are going to beat (Other than #11 Georgia)

I love the Bulls. There is no doubt there. But I'm sorry.... Brianna Stewart is just awesome! If she gets hot on the court, she's just unstoppable. We have no answer for her. The best we can do MIGHT be putting a healthy Jenkins on her, because a healthy Jenkins would be able to come close to matching her intensity inside. Ferrara just doesn't have the experience to stop her.
Problem is that Jenkins is playing with 4 fouls, and would probably foul out quickly guarding Stewart.
There is no question that CW is the best shooter on the floor, but Stewart is just a beast inside and out.

Innocent until proven guilty! Nothing to see here. Move along.... Move along

So, what was the point on dredging up this Thread? Probably a low point in an otherwise exemplary and happy life? Any possibility of burring it, and even locking it? No one needs to be reminded of a low point (mistake) in one's life.
Debt Paid to society! Move on!

USF Needs to put a ton of these types of videos out there on the net. They are very professional, very entertaining, and definitely ups our exposure to anyone who may see them.
They are so much better than our commercials that go on during our games on National TV. Whomever is in charge of these should be encouraged to keep doing them and even on a grander scale. I love the football specials they have put together on a weekly basis "New Era on the Bay" for 2015 and am looking forward to 2016 programming as well.

"The Pub" used to be the name of the bar/eatery accross the street from Fontana Hall back in my day. They had the best wings ever. Probably not there anymore.....
But more on topic, I'm so happy about Kayvon's continued success.

Any time you play against the taller trees and turn the ball over as much as we did, taking them down to the wire is very impressive. This goes down as a good loss to a GREAT team
-
Great effort for the Lady Bulls
Taking the #4 team in the nation down to the wire!!!!

Keep the frequent updates please. I lost the USF Audio feed!

Why would that be a kick out of bounds if it was touched by the receiving team before it went out of bounds?

USF Soccer defeated Tulsa 2-1 to go to 8-3 on the season. Ranked #18 they look like a great team once again! http://www.gousfbulls.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=7700&ATCLID=210403820
Congrats to the team. Keep on giving all you've got on the pitch!

Interestingly enough, the woman posted above (Jenna Marbles) made an estimated $1.1M in 2013 and $1.4M in 2014. She's a graduate of Suffolk University in Mass. I would say she's pretty brilliant!
-
I wonder if this will positively affect the attendance at the games? I hope so!
-
Wouldn't it be fun to root FOR the team and the players instead of rooting AGAINST the players individually and the coach? A REAL fan wouldn't be complaining complaining complaining about every bad play and then not show up on the good plays. A REAL fan doesn't root against his team NO MATTER WHAT!
That is All!

What a great game played for 3 quarters from USF. Hard to beat the other team when they blow calls all night.... Moving Picks, reach ins, horrible no calls, and a blown call at the end. Take away the homerism and the home court advantage and we win this one.
