After going 22-2 in the last 24 all we need now is a two game winning streak.

I will be rooting hard for a FAU loss tonight.

Its great to watch other basketball games with implications for the Bulls. I am wondering do we want Wichita State or UAB?

Wichita State would have to play their fourth game in four days. While UAB would give us the opportunity to have beaten every team in conference plus a win against a 20 + win team. It would help brush up our resume.

Ultimately though I am hoping for us to play Wichita State.

I expect an easy win today for UAB against Wichita State since they are playing for a third day in a row

That was incredible! Hoping for UAB and FAU losses later today.

Yea I hope when they select teams they will look passed the NET and look at how we played in the last 2/3 of our season.

Memphis was hot and cold this year but were still a pretty good team. We are two spots out of the top 25.  Win today and tomorrow and we should remain in that 23-27 range in that human ranking, even if things don't work out in the final. I have to believe that that could be enough.

Need to to care of business in the second half though.

We have come out strong today. Need to do the same thing in the second half. hopefully ECU will tire in the second half after playing yesterday

The AAC is definitely down this year, and our OOC results were not good. However, wins against FAU, Memphis, Loyola, FSU, SMU, Charlotte after our bad start makes for a pretty good resume.

These are still predictions. Right now we are ranked 27 in the AP. Have to believe that if we win the next two that we become a bubble NCAAT team. But it would be close.

Higher seeds losing in so many games. Dayton lost against Duquesne yesterday. SMU, Memphis out. This will not be easy.

Hoping ECU is tired from yesterday

I wish I had your confidence. i think it will be brutal to beat UAB and FAU (probably) on back to back nights after having played another game the day prior.

The way the tournament is set up is not ideal for us.

Baylor had some great years as well. Cincy made the playoffs not that long ago. I think the bottom of the Big 12 is probably stronger than the ACC bottom ( Syracuse, Boston College, Wake Forest, Duke,...)

It will all depend on how many teams the ACC loses. If its just the two the ACC will be fine, but if they lose more than 4 they could be in some trouble. 

However the ACC will be fine in the long run since it will add USF if it loses more than 4

This is probably for a different thread but it wouldn't hurt for the AAC to perhaps look to add some teams. Teams that don't have Division 1 football like Dayton or VCU.

These tournament games are tricky. Doesn't help that the games are played consecutive days in a mostly empty arena Tomorrow will not be easy.

Wow you are right. Cant believe they see the Mountain West with 5 locked teams right now.

San Diego State playing UNLV right now. I think we want UNLV to win this game since San Diego State is just like us just right out of the top 25 rankings.

The top line of each region is still on lock-down in this update. We are just three days away from Selection Sunday.

 

Great find. We will also need to keep a close look at what happens in the Mountain West since they have a bunch of bubble teams right now. I will be watching a lot of basketball tonight, which is crazy for me to say  since my Final Fantasy 7 rebirth copy just arrived in the mail today. I am hoping that I wont touch that game for a while since that would mean we will be winning over the next few days and hopefully weeks.

I still think win the next two and we are in.
