Picked up some wins but with a cupcake schedule.
I’m more negative than positive on CAGs hurry up offense thus far.
Obviously the defense is still mostly terrible.
It’s a start…

Those who shall not be named 6-6
Cincinnati- 3-9
Houston 4-8
What happened to them?!?!
They stepped up in competition. The AAC is the minors.

So grey and chartreuse are our colors now?
Looked like UAB ripoffs. I hope they never make an appearance again.

To think some people actually thought Bohannon was better than Brown for USF to win games. Go Bulls! Go Brown!
Not to say he’s better but Bohannon would have won games against this level of competition as well.

Well this is a team a respectable USF squad should run up the score on, so bring on the onside kicks, trick plays, etc.

WTF is Charlotte doing
Throwing the game apparently.

1 and goal on the 1/2 yard line and we are rushing to catch the defense off guard…why??
-
Isn’t it someone job at USF to get the students to the games? How can we have 30k+ and have a couple of hundred at the games?
CAG is another flash in the pan that MK hopes works out. May be he will but chances are he won’t.

Pretty sure Golesh dislikes traditional USF colors.

If you demoted FSU to the AAC next year, they would lose 1/2 the fan base instantly.

Only if we want to eclipse the last semi-embarrassing storming of the field…2015 I believe.

We're not the only school doing that. I read somewhere that Antonio Cromartie reads at a 3rd grade reading level but still had a degree from FSU.
No doubt, but you have to think that having higher academic expectations shrinks the pool of potential players, especially when you are looking for gems in the rough. Not judging just analyzing what may explain the drought.

It is 2023 and besides Shuler, the last decent Juco player was from 2015. That is almost a decade ago. I'm not knocking Juco players, but they haven't panned out in a while and many are at a Juco b/c they lacked discipline in the classroom or messed up at a previous destination. I think FCS/D2 overachievers give you the most bang for your buck. Then P5 and then Juco.
Any relation between the lack of Jucos since 2015 and the focus on raising academics? Love JPP but saw an interview with him the other day, and I’ll leave it there.

So thankful USF’s location is in TB. USF will always be able to bring in good transfers.
Really? All I have been reading about over the last several weeks is how we have no talent.
-
Why settle for MS St and Syracuse, who’s leaving Alabama?
I’m a P5 caliber player at <insert P5 school’s name>, please make the case why I choose G5 USF…I’ve got 1 potentially plausible scenario: USF overpays player who doesn’t have realistic expectations for the NFL.
Otherwise P5 transfers will almost certainly be reclamation projects.

A rivalry usually isn’t a one-side dominated affair.

Football biased but actual rivalries…I only think of 3:
-UCF
-WV
-Any of the big 3 FL schools whenever we play them

The most “controversial” part of the article is Bianci’s commentary at the end, which is just that…his idiotic commentary. Why would Leavitt “inexplicably” be at a UCF game? Well may be it’s because he was attending with a OK St buddy as indicated in the beginning of the article. Last time I checked USF didn’t and doesn’t play OK St. Everything else is a sad rehash of what we already know, unless you’ve buried your head in the sand.

Probably but we are doing it in the most unimpressive way possible against (what should be) inferior competition. I know 6 wins, more than last 3 years combined.

Imagine someone telling you in 2009 that in 14 years we would be coming off 4 wins in 3 seasons, be in a significantly lower conference than UCF, getting waxed by UTSA and hoping to be lucky enough to beat charlotte. Stay the course boys the future is bright under our milquetoast leadership!
“We’ll be fine.”

I’d be interested to hear what the players prefer…a low attendance game in Hawaii against a random opponent or a sold out stadium in Florida against our arch rival.
Im going with the latter.
