I don’t think the NCAA is on anyone’s mind. NIT will probably require 18/19 wins. I did a quick run through the schedule I think the max this team wins before the conference tourney is 14/15. Anything is possible but with terrible free throw shooting we will piss away a few games we should have won. With a weak down low presence we will lose a few due to cold shooting nights.

Unless those 18/19 wins include wins over Utah State, FSU, Memphis, UCONN and Wichita State and making it to the AAC semifinals; it is unlikely that 18/19 wins will be enough for the NIT. I say that because last season USF won 19 regular season games last season and didn't get a NIT bid. Yes, Memphis and Wichita State both won 19 regular season games and got into the NIT but Memphis and Wichita State had some wins against teams that got into the NCAA Tournament. USF didn't win a single game against a NCAA Tournament team last season.

Barring Luke applying for and winning an appeal for eligibility to begin first semester next year (not too far fetched), I believe he could begin playing as soon as the first semester is over next year (ie. Dec. 15 or so).

I agree. This is likely the worst case scenario. Since he is basically returning home to go to school and didn't play in any of Iowa State's regular season games he probably has a good chance of getting a waiver to begin playing with the Bulls first game of the 2020-2021 season.

1: Michael Kelly seems smart enough to realize that you can't bring Jeff Scott into the Leroy Selmon Athletics Center until he is in the same state (and even city!) as the Leroy Selmon Athletics Center. By all indications, coach has been in South Carolina all day and signed his contract at home.

2: USF Rivals was pushing Rich Bisaccia and went on an unprofessional Twitter tirade.

USF Rivals did not push Bisaccia lol. They just reported that he was interviewed. Even reported it wasn't an in person interview. Then the fanboys went crazy. That whole thing was funny to me.

It just literally kills them that they are not more influential than they are.

"If Michael Kelly and Associates needs some outside consulting help, we're here for him".

    FYI, he doesn't.

LOL in that article they wrote six full words and one abbreviated word about Coach Scott. They were offering help for Michael Kelly? GTFO with that crap. How do they even have any credibility? Buncha fanboys posing as journalists.

Did the bot block this one too?

I always thought the 10 a.m. meeting was suspect at best. Michael Kelly seems smart enough to realize that you don't bring Jeff Scott into the Leroy Selmon Athletics Center until he has signed a contract. Then when the Tweets started to say that the 10 a.m. meeting was with players and coaches I really thought that was b.s. because it is finals week. I guess it is possible that nobody on the football team would have a final during the 10 a.m. hour but that is unlikely. I'd expect a meeting with the players to be sometime in the evening.

The USF Rivals site had this coaching search well covered. It was all behind a paywall though.

Didn't we also just get a commitment from like a 4 star guy that alot of SEC teams were looking at (at least I think I read something about that).

Well,  even if this season doesn't go as well as we wanted.....with CBG the future appears very bright (unless the Basketball Gods continue to ex-communicate us).

Caleb Murphy signed last week. Some people are concerned that he will qualify but I trust in Brian Gregory.
