Especially since we'll be there on 12/2...
I like where your heads at, but actually Last year Temple played at Navy for the CCG and then had to go back for the Military Bowl.

Syracuse is the worse team is the ACC record wise and has a losing record. Top teams do not drop losses to teams like that period. Miami should feel disrespected even more now. They demolished "3"ND and "10" VT I believe was their rank at the time. Not a CAnes fan but I hope they destroy Clemson and open the door for a possible USF invite if they beat UCF and Memphis.
invite to what?

Tell Colorado and Colorado State that. Or Marshall and WVU.
WVU vs Marshall isn't any more of a rivalry than USF FSU

There is a legit chance we get sent to the military bowl to play FSU. The tie in is for AAC vs ACC. Usually it is the 2nd/3rd best AAC team vs the worst/one of the worst bowl-eligible ACC teams. much like the Birmingham and SEC. Here would be the list of likely oppenents.
FSU 6-6
UVA 6-6
BC 6-6/7-5
Wake 6-6/7-5
G Tech 6-5
Duke 6-6 (most likely not getting to 6 wins though)
Louisville (most likely gonna finish 8-4 but always a chance they lose to Cuse and/or UK)
Adding to that, here are the last 3 matchups since it went to AAC vs ACC.
2014 Va Tech 6-6 vs Cincy 9-3
2015 Pitt 8-4 vs Navy 10-2
2016 Wake Forest 6-6 vs Temple 10-3

The less said about FAU/FIU the better. I am fairly sure we would beat them, but much like playing UF/FSU does nothing for them FAU/FIU do nothing for us. We aren't getting UF or FSU even if they go bowling-yeah, it's a "beat them while they're down" situation, but they don't even want to risk that loss.

We shall see who the coach openings affects more? Us or UCF. I seem to recall Houston really laying an egg once the coaching rumors got heavy and then Memphis layed an egg the previous year when Fuente left.
Really hope some type of concrete Frost rumor leaks in the next week and a half...

And win the peach ... if he can't win the big one then I think the big boys will pass on em .
Hate to break it to you, but all the job openings will be filled well before the peach bowl. If we make it to the peach, and Strong decides he's leaving, he won't be coaching in the game.

Most likely a IPF w/ an attached building for football only. Leaving the Selmon Center for the rest of Athletics.

Why are we allowing an external entity to determine who hosts?
There should be no external criteria - the host should be determined solely based on actions that occured within the conference (head2head, common opponents, coin toss, etc)
The external criteria is only used after the first two tiebreakers. 1st is head to head, second is conference record. Hence the need for external criteria in this instance.

He may not leave, but, there could be an agreement to announce it before the end of the year... early signing period and all, it makes sense for UF to want to have it out there to keep recruits.
Also, I don't think Taggart leaving Oregon hurts them too bad, they would immediately hire Chip Kelly and the fans would rejoice. Taggart would be a blip on their radar.
If Chip wanted to go back to Oregon, don't you think we would've done it this past year? Pretty sure that ship has sailed.

I know the threat is real and it would really ruin this season for me.
We'll know for sure soon thought bc UF sources can't keep their mouths shut. If Frost refuses to sign the new contract that is going to be offered then he's gone.
I think the fact that he's moved from +800 to -120 in the matter of 24 hours, seems that someone already knows something...

if someone is willing to gamble on coaching carousel...
I think it would be tempting to Taggart but don't think he leaves Oregon
It's gonna be Frost bud, just a matter of time before it comes out.

Frost is now the overwhelming betting favorite at most online books that are offering odds....pretty quick move in just one day.

Taggart would've made a change at DC, and yes we would be 8-0.

I didn't know we had crappy facilities.
Yeah, that's the major issue I had with the article. I would absolutely love to know when the last time that PoS stepped foot on campus.

We need to show up for senior night. Just give away tickets to anyone. Also I hope PJG cancels afternoon and evening classes so students can recognize the seniors.
Hahahahahahahahahahaha. Judy cancel classes for a football game. Good one. You almost got me there.

Seeming how the game time was announced this week, fans of any AAC school have more than enough time to prepare. And there hasn't been any word of if they are going to get in for free or not.
Yes, some fans will plan. However, the overwhelming majority of our fans, especially students, have no idea we would be able to host the game. Students were not allowed in for free at the game the past two seasons. If we host, it's not run by USF, it's run by the conference. The same way it would be if it was held at a neutral spot.

Tickets will go fast for that game so buy yours early - lets fill Ray Jay with a sea of GREEN and GOLD!
No they won't. As apathetic as our fan base is, we would be lucky to get 30k for that Game. Noon game, on one weeks notice. 90% of our fanbase has no clue that we even have a chance of hosting a conf champ game, so next to no one is planning for the possibility of it besides the type of people who come on here. Throw in the fact that the students don't get in for free and that is the saturday before finals week. I can assure you we will all be sorely disappointed

Plus coaching is a profession. How many people would stay at a job for a long period of time making half as much as they could somewhere else? Especially if that other position is more prestigious.
I expect Strong stays at least another year or so. I am thinking within a year or 2 he ends up at Arkansas.
Bielema is getting canned after this season. They're done with his BS. I fear you are 100% right about Charlie ending up there. Don't see him ending up at any of the other possible openings besides Arkansas.
Tennessee:: No way
Florida: They need offense BAD. Don't think they would look to him.
Ole Miss: Don't think he wants to deal with their situation.
Missouri: Hopeless program
Only other outside of the box scenario I could see is possibly Petrino leaving Lousiville and him running back there.
