  1. Read this story and saw his footage and **** dude is fast. I see him and Tyre McCants  giving us great feild position all season.

He had 8 touchdown runs of 60 yards or more last season. Not sure why he was not heavily recruited but the tape does not lie, this dude is fast.  It's going to be a nice year for the Bulls.

  2. Gator fans are usually cool. The most obnoxius ones are usually online.

Uh, no ... Gator fans had cornered the obnoxious market decades before the Internet was even a gleam in Al Gore's eye ...

Whats funny is that i got to UF in 95' and wasnt a big college football fan until i had a whole bunch of big dudes in my class (Fred Taylor, Ben Hanks, and some other cat) and was curious to see how they play. But it took a while for me to become a fan b/c they were obnoxious lol I appreciate the Gators more as an alumnni

  3. I don’t see how we haven’t gotten better.Quarterback (better) - We officially have 4 quarterbacks on our roster than can run a 40 under a 4.7, three of them run a 4.5 and 2 out of those four can actually throw if you count Brett Kean and Karsten Miller. Personally, I think Kean will rise up as a true Freshman and lead us to glory. When the season starts I shall have my “I told you so post†ready. I’m not a big fan of Bench or Flowers, but if they somehow manage to beat out Kean then I’m confident we can get at least 6 wins with them.Running back (waaay better) Marlon Mack is a beast. Tice is a beast who can also catch. Not sure why you fail to mention him in your post, but I see him getting 500 rushing yards this year while Mack Surpasses 1000 again. Kennard Swanson, and D'Ernest Johnson will play their roles as well. I feel they have all probably added muscle and speed this offseason so it will be an awesome year of running.

Receivers / Tight ends (better) –How are we worse? Welch sucked, Andre Davis was great but gone, and Adams is still here. Now our quarterbacks will finally be forced to utilize the other talent such as 4 star Rysheen Bronson, Clerveax, Whitehead, Chris Bar and let us not forget McCants in addition to 2 good transfers from P5 schools. We have plenty of speed and good hands this year.Offensive line (Much better)- I agreeDefensive line (Better)- Kevin Bronson, Deadrin Senat, Marlon Gonzalez…and they are playing with 4 bodies at the line. We are much deeper this year.Linebackers (Freakin awesome) No words needed, I expect an awesome defense this yearDefensive Backs (Better) I think mad players got experience from last year and have probably put on good muscle in this off season.Kicker/Punter (better) We are good at this position.Return game (better) We have waaay too many speed options this year. I think McCants will be the main go to guy.Coaches- We took one of the top defensive coaches from the SEC in Tom Allen who was part of the top defense in the nation. Danny Hope came from Purdue a school that has been using the spread since I was a kid, but now he gets to use it with better athletes, and the Wild Card is Kinan, Coached Taggart and Danny Hope. Coached in college and is a legendary high school coach who won 5 state titles using the spread. Conclusion:

I’m not sure why there is so much doubt. Memphis had a 3-9 record in 2013, but bounced back in 2014 with a 10-3 record and 7-1 in the AAC. Hell even last year, 4 of our losses were by less than 12 points. I know a loss is a loss, 12 points is not much and those 4 losses we beat ourselves. I’ve said all I can in this blog. I’m going to devote my blog time back to my Gators. Bulls Fans are getting too depressing for me. lol I became a Bulls fans because they had a lot of Haitians on their team, they are from the state of Florida amd the fans were are devoted and funny. Dont let these past few years change you, It’s going to be alright. Sit back and enjoy a better season.

I am not at all a depressed bulls fan. I love USF no matter what their record is, and i definitely will not bandwagon over to the gators or noles blog. Im just being realistic in my analysis, and not going to claim that our kikcker is better after losing kloss lol. Its ok to be a fan without expecting a #1 overall ranking bro. Go USF

I graduated from the University of Florida. USF is my 2nd team. I became a fan because i love the journey of this team.

Thank you.   I had a nice time when USF played Florida.   It was a good game for a while.

Gator fans are usually cool. The most obnoxius ones are usually online. Illl admit, i hated how we treated Coach Ron Zook and never giving Charlie Strong a job as head coach. I feel that is why we sucked these past few years including losing to a non-P5 Georgia Southern was our Karma. But we have a new coach which means a new start

Other than the dearth of Haitians on the team, nothing has changed ...

I don't want to compare USF to Memphis, but last year Memphis did not play UCF or ECU.  They destroyed Cincinnati early in the season, but other than that they beat conference foes Uconn, us, Tulsa, Temple, Tulane, and SMU.  None of those teams had a winning record.  Again, beyond Cincinnati they did not beat any good teams.  They did beat a struggling BYU in Miami.

That is why last year was a good "turn it around" year for us as we had a pretty soft schedule, but not as soft as Memphis.  This year our schedule is much tougher.

Not to mention, we almost beat a good Wisconsin team

  7. Pump the breaks a bit on the "one of the top defensive coaches in the SEC" banners.  Tom Allen was a line bakers coach for two years at Ole Miss.  Not the architect of the 4-2-5 scheme there.  A position coach.

I never said he was the "defensive coordinator", but he was one of the coaches on one of the best defenses last year and had a lot of hype to become a Defensive Coordinator.

  9. 2. Brett Kea, Brett Kean and Brett Kean. Last year, he committed to us early so that he can focus on winning a state title. And you know what, he won the state title. That shows confidence, determination and the swag needed to play the position. I did research and even when he was backing up Mike White in Ft. Lauderdale, he was a threat to taking his job which is why Mike White probably left, b/c he knows how good Brett Kean is. Last, he runs a 4.7 and has a very quick release. Waaay better arm then both quarterbacks we have now.

I like your confidence but you know who else won a state title in high school?

    Mike White.

We all know how that turned out.

Yea, but he predicted it and to be honest, he is just waaay better then Mike White. i think mike white has a stronger arm, but not as quick a throw or delivery as Kean. And even though it doesnt guarantee success, winning a state title is still a lot of work and determination, so not sure how you make it seem like it's not an accomplishment lol
Kean won one in Ohio Division 1. That's like middle school in Florida. Mike White's was 3A.
Watch the video highlights and see for yourself. I remember watching Flowers footage and knew he would suck, Kean has a way quicker release, You could insult his division all you want but just remember this post when he balls during the regular season.

If he's so good, why did he make his parents move to Ohio to avoid competition with White?

He moved to Ohio because he had to change schools it had nothing to do with football, also Sean White transfered into University School so he would not have gotten the start until his senior year

Kean moved to ohio his senior year and got that school a championship. Sean White wouldnt of started over him if he stayed his senior year.

You mean Sean White the #4 QB in the nation that year, who was recruited by every college in the nation, right?  I can't tell if you are serious or not.  Kean is a good player but that statement is a little out there.  Kean is going to redshirt and looking at the talent coming in I'm like, ok.  I never count any guy out but to think he is a savior is not smart.  He's never thrown a college pass and for someone so good, why did so many programs take a pass?

Easy, he is better then Flowers and Bench. Plus we are loaded at receiver, tight end and running back. All we need is a quarterback that cam throw a half desent ball and Kean throws a much quicker and accurate ball then Flowers or Bench in additional to being able to run in which he runs a 4.7 40.

  10. Bowl? Bowl?  Are you friggin idiots serious?

Let me remind you again who the USF coach is...........Willie (Short Bus, Simple Tagg) Taggart who famously said he wanted QBs (and other players) playing Madden Football to gain the mental skills necessary for their position.  A man who lost to McNeese State, FAU, and UCF twice in a row.  A man who has had the lowest rated offenses in the AAC for both years as head coach.  He's won 6 of 24 over the past two years for christs sake!

A Shih Tzu would have a better chance of sniffing a Great Dane's ass than USF will have sniffing a bowl game.  I'll be there every home game hoping I can give away enough tickets to fill my seats and will have serious reasons to cheer halfway through the season when Willie "Can't Coach for violation" Taggart has finally been, unceremoniously, shown the exit door. I'd eat my hat if that simpleton gets us to a bowl game.

Well, there will be plenty seats on the bandwagon after USF starts finally winning this year my friend. Led by Brett Savior King lol

    Yeah Bro

You forgot the late season crash to be truly authentic

I like this prediction and will role with it except, CWT keeps his job b/c Brett Kean Savior leads us into our first conference title and National Championship

  13. Wait, what, we redshirt athletes?  I thought we had a policy to redshirt them for half the season and then burn them for a play or two.  Do we have any athletes that actually redshirted the whole year?  If I sound angry and bitter, it is only because I am... and hurt people hurt people.

-Lol I feel you. We wasted red shirts, but now finally get to see these highly heralded recruits play. Plus all of our transfers and maybe a few of these new recruits. Im going to let go of these past two years...too much pain my friend, let it go like that song from Teddy Pendergrass lol

  14. Looking forward to Coach Allen coaching the defense, think we could see a defense that looks pretty good this year.

    t

-I totally forgot to mention him. Its funny how we snagged one of the top defensive coordinator talent from the SEC and it has garnered no excitement from anybody. I thibk our defense has great talent to go with a great coach.

  15. Which freshman or redshirted player that didn’t play last year are you looking forward to watching or feel will have an impact on the team this year?

Defense- Kevin Bronson and err’body else that will finally get a chance to play this year.. I love our defense this year and feel we finally have the depth to be carried by our defense if our offense can’t score.

Offense- Brett Kean (will win starting job and be our savior lol), Ryshene Bronson will make whatever quarterback we have look great, Stanley Clerveaux will be our best possession receiver, Tyre McCants (is he still injured?), Billy Atterbury- Dude looks mean and was pretty aggressive in high school, I think he will actually play this year), Glen Bethel and Reilly gibbons (man our O-line can’t really be that bad)

Coaches- Kinan, I feel he will bring his expertise to the spread to this team and provide the offensive guidance Taggart and his offensive coordinators need help in the most.

Overall- the deep has the depth that has been missing the past few years. USF have tons of unproven talent and hungry individuals. We got rid of a lot of bad attitudes and athletes that felt entitled to start or play.

This post is not intended to start any arguments, it’s just for those who are excited to see some of the many 3 star and a few 4 star recruits finally play. USF has sucked in the past 2 years, but I always start my seasons off believing we can win all of our games until proven otherwise. We have a lot of heralded recruits and transfers coming over this year and a new offensive plan that caters to our athletes and depth.

Are you joking or a moron? Kean moved to Ohio AFTER Mike White graduated. So he wouldn't of had to compete with White. Noticed he still committed to the same school as White after? He knew that he could take the job away from Mike White, which is why White left.

There is absolutely no reason to think a true freshman QB can win right away at the division 1 level.  You can find a few exceptions, but not many at all.  We viewed first hand what happens when you are dealing with true freshmen here and at other schools.  And if you decide to name some, I'm willing to bet they were all higher ranked recruits than Kean.  I watched his tape, he is good but he's not that good.  I mean he has potential but I've seen A LOT of room for improvement and as the skill level goes up and the size of those windows close... he's not going to be throwing to wide open guys on the regular like in his film.

I get your enthusiasm but I find myself right back in the place I was the past two years... If it's to the point where a true freshman is playing, your team sucks.  I said it about us when we played White.  I actually knew we'd have to play him because all we had was Matt Floyd (who I knew sucked) and Bobby Eveld (who was a great guy and leader but not much of a QB AT ALL).  Kean will redshirt because the guys in front of him are far more ready at this point than he is.

Also you keep ragging on Flowers.  Not only was the kid a higher rated recruit than Kean, actually our highest rated QB signee ever, he can do a lot more than Kean can.  He's a better football player and for this offense, a power spread much like Auburns, Flowers is the better fit.  I equate Kean with Bench when he first got here.  I don't know if you want to lose, but playing Kean as a true freshman would ensure we lose.  Everyone and their mother knows Flowers is likely going to be the starter.  I watched him in the spring and he improved tremendously.  With the work those guys have been putting in since spring ball and over the summer, that guy will be ready.  I think he's going to have some growing pains but I also think he, Mack, Johnson, and Tice are going to put on a show if that Oline is as good as I think they can be.

I saw Flowers high school film and was never impressed. He has no arm and never will. Kean highlights looks waaay better. I value a quick release and his release is quicker than both quarterbacks. If you are talking about speed...Flowers runs a 4.5 40 and Brett Kean runs a 4.7, so he has a 2 second advantage, but no arm. And yes I will name a Freshman Quarterback who did it and that was Christian Hackenberg. As for Flowers and Bench, they both had opportunities. Hell I like that juco quarterback we have coming in better then Flowers, so he's my 2nd choice. In the end, we will just let things play out in August.
