  1. It was a great game for White, but this is a defense that QBs from Southern and UTSA also lit up and prior to the Rutgers debacle was giving up 275+ per game to quarterbacks. Lets see what he does against a real defense before we anoint him savior.
  2. I wonder if we were watching the same game. I saw UL get a gift 7 points to make it 28-7 and UCF immediately scored the next drive to make it 28-14. At least that's what I remember. I think we would have to win the turnover margin by 3 and produce some offensive touchdowns for the first time in a month to have a shot. Certainly stranger things have happened but I can't really see winning or losing by less than a couple touchdowns.
  3. Just to chime in on your Kaniggit lovefest with their fans (some of which I agree with, some not), saw in the paper this morning that as of last weekend, their home game this weekend wasn't sold out. I'm sure it will before game time, if it already hasn't, but that's pathetic. You don't think we would have sold 45K seats to a home game with South Carolina well in advance of a week before if we 2-0? .... Sorry for the interruption. You can go back to slobbering over them again. The game isn't this weekend...
  4. As soon as Vanderbilt gets kick out of the SEC and Wake Forest gets kicked out of the ACC and Northwestern out of the B1G. Remember Syracuse got invited to the ACC even though they weren't competitive in the Big East. There is more to being in the conference than football. Vanderbilt actually finished ranked 20th last season in football and have a good basketball team that makes an NCAA tournament appearance most years including 6 sweet 16s. Wake Forest has a 60 year history in the ACC and has a pretty bad football team now, but they were in a bowl as recently as 2011 and from 2005-2009 were a good team who won a conference title in 2006. They also have a basketball team that has made 14 NCAA tournament appearances in the past 23 years with 5 top 10 finishes and 4 sweet 16s. Northwestern has been to 5 straight bowl games and is ranked 16th at the moment in football. All three of these teams have been in their respective conferences for a long time and have had occasional successes like conference championships or NCAA sweet 16s, etc. Syracuse while not being as good since Pasqualoni's departure actually has a national championship and several conference championships on their football resume as well as being one of the top basketball schools in the country.
