  1. Another silly post. Miami has invested over 12 mill in facilities in the last 5 yrs, and are about to announce an indoor facility. Miami will never have an OCS, the campus is like one third the size of USF and there is no room. Remember Miami just signed a HUUUUGE Adidas contract that started a couple of months ago. Theres a reason whyvMiami just paid 7 mill to fire Golden...... $ is no longer an issue
  2. Your friend obviously does not stay up too well on miami because that President is gone, a new one is already in place. As a Miami grab and a USF student I can tell you that Miamis facilities are better than those at USF (football wise, baseball stadium is about equal to USF, thats a really nice stadium), but not by all that much, id say about 20% better. Miami is building an indoor practice facility soon however. Miami is a better job than UCF and USF. The facilities, pay, and fanbase is better at South Carolina, but recruiting and winning is much easier at Miami. The old president Shalala KILLED Miami football bad. Dont believe Miami is broke tho, they just paid 7 million to fire Golden
  3. You do realize that he has to sit out due to his transfer right?
  4. FIU beat FAU........and both prob would've beaten USF last year. I don't think you realize just how bad USF was last year. Seriously, about 6 or 7 plays was the difference between 4-8 and 0-12. Even still, USF looked like crap in all 4 of those wins There is no way USF was "6 or 7" plays from 0-12... USF was no where near losing WCU and U Conn (and the rain makes everyone look like crap)... SMU was the only game where we were one play from losing - but White engineered two great dries to win the game... Tulsa it took some time, but that second half was a thing of beauty. USF was also exactly three plays from 6-6... so USF was not "BAD" ... USF was inexperienced (as the 2nd or 3rd overall youngest team in FBS) and had problems with focus (hence so many dumb penalties)... and because our OL could not protect the QB, teams simply stacked the box against the run. LOL! "USF wasn't bad....we were inexperienced". You're just making excuses now for the team being bad. You're right, USFwasn't in danger of losing to WCU, but WCU was a meh FCS team. That UConn game was a joke. USF needed a miracle to beat Tulsa, and had a prayer answered to beat a horrible SMU team. Isn't that 8 pt SMU win the only win USF has over a FBS opponent by more than 6 points in like 5 years? USF was flat out TERRIBLE last year.....BAAAAAAD. For whatever reasons, it does not matter. In football you are what you put on film, and for ANY USF fan to feel insulted because FIU is ranked higher preseason is laughable.

  6. Yeah i was typing on my phone while doing something else, **** happens
  7. I hope this D, esp the DBs, pick up this 4-5-2 scheme with a full understanding of situational assignments. No amount of weights or running can help that
  8. Budget was the same last few years per the article. I know, hence why i used the word "stagnent". The AD needs to step up and invest in the program if this thing is ever going to get back on track. Everything can't keep on going by the way of status quo. Even an extra 25k wouldve been a huge improvement.
  9. This will bring some enthuiasm and excitement for existing fans, and may entice a few former ticket holders to come back. However, it does very little to attract new fans, especially students, where support has really fallen off. Sadly, the only thing that will work in that area is a winning team that puts an actual worthwhile product on the field. Seeing the stagnent 300k budget though disapoints me. The AThletic Department is kind of ass backwards monetary wise in their thinking and actions
