I thought Prestwood was done with football.

That was the rumor before he took a trip to USF in Vero and was then supposed to meet with USF again later on in Tampa.

Woah guys, you can't say he has a nice offer list (even if he does have a nice offer list). Because that doesn't matter. Apparently.

Hope this talented young man joins us.

What's a woah?

OK, grammar police. Meet grammar nazi.

I suggest you talk to someone interested in language, because that word is a colloquialism without a "right" per se. Granted, "whoa" is more accepted.

It's similar to the Oxford comma not being right wrong. That is "Apples, Bananas, and Oranges" vs. "Apples, Bananas and Oranges" are both considered "right" by various parties.

But, I digress.

Prestwood would be foolish to go to UCiF.

The Urban Dictionary, the definitive source on English diction states.

1. woah 818 up, 449 down

incorrect spelling of whoa

a: woah.

b: you got the letters mixed up.

c: yeah, forget sounding **** out.

Wikitionary another esteemed source states

woah

  1. (Internet, sometimes humorous) Common misspelling of whoa.

Usage notes

Although technically a misspelling, this form is commonly used, mainly in informal and internet contexts, as a more phonetic spelling.

and lastly the lightly regarded Merriam Webster Dictionary

whoa

verb imperative \ˈwÅ, ˈhÅ, ˈhwÅ\

Definition of WHOA

1

—a command (as to a draft animal) to stand still

2

: cease or slow a course of action or a line of thought : pause to consider or reconsider —often used to express a strong reaction (as alarm or astonishment)

Origin of WHOA

Middle English whoo, who

First Known Use: 15th century

And you are correct sir, I'm sure Mr. Prestwood having gained acceptance to Notre Dame can't really be considering Mickey Mouse U. But really, Whoa ain't spelled woah and never has been. They ain't both right. One is right and one belongs in the trash can.

Sorry buddy, "woah" is slang. Which, you just used some slang yourself in the post above when you said "ain't".

Ain't is a colloquialism and contraction for "am not". Woah is also a colloquialism predominantly used in Internet slang.

I'm done arguing this.

Thanks for your help in defining ain't. Too funny.
