With the young QB situation in the BE I was wondering what folks would think the BE record might look like by the end of September

Total games: 28

Opponents: BCS - 11

              Non BCS - 8

              D-II - 9

The bigger games look to be:

Cinci vs  @ NC St  & @ OK

              UConn vs @ Mich

UL vs  @ KY  & @ Oregon St

Pitt vs  @ Utah & Miami

              Rutgars vs North Carolina

              USF vs  @ UF

              Syracuse vs @ Washington

WV vs Maryland  &  @ LSU

Just for arguments sake lets say the BE goes 9-0 in the D-II games.  That leaves 8 non BCS games CINCI beats Fresno St , UConn should beat Temple & Buffalo, WV should beat Marshal, I almost hope Rutgars loses to FIU but naw,Cuse I sure hope beats Akron and we all know our Bulls will take out Western Ky.  Pitt at Utah could be tough so I am going with an overall 6-2(upset somewhere)

So with a 15-2 record excluding our BCS games what would be success & what would be failure for the BE ?

BEast teams do not play D-II teams!

The correct term would be FCS or the division formerly known as I-AA.

BE I think will be fine-underappreciatrd and yet we should have some good wins and some top 25 placements

I'm pretty certain that Cincinnati-Oklahoma game is in Cincinnati. They also play @ Fresno State, which is no gimmie.

Cincy gets OU 1-1, while we get the Gators 0-2!

OU plays Tulsa (CUSA), but we refuse to play UCF (CUSA), instead we get WKU, and Ball State :'(

I'm pretty sure that the Cincy-OU deal was signed recently, where the USF-UF deal was signed like 8 years ago or so.

We should be looking for more 1 for 1 BCS deals because they are out there.

Thanks - when you are old it is hard to change to the new terminology.

I don't know when the contract was signed, but the first game of the OU/UC 1-1 was played at OU back in 2008.
