He always reminded me of Doug Flutie and Flutie did real well in the CFL. My question is who makes more? CFL, UFL or Arena League players?

Highly unlikely.Grothe will participate in mini camp and move on. I love his game to death but he's not a NFL QB

Only problem is we didn't draft any offensive linemen so his line will be made up of UDFA's while Gerald McCoy and Brian Price make his life tough. Good luck MG... beat out Jevan Snead. He is going to be practicing and working out with the team. He's not the next Buc's QB. He's not in competition with Freeman for the starting job. His stint with the Bucs will probably only last for mini camp and possibly into training camp. Here's an article I posted a couple weeks ago from PewterReport.com:The quarterback to keep an eye on is South Florida's Matt Grothe, who took part in the Bulls' pro day workout on Tuesday and is scheduled to visit One Buccaneer Place for a private workout on April 8.The 5-foot-11, 205-pound Grothe still is recovering from a torn ACL he sustained in September, which cut his collegiate playing career short. Some NFL coaches and scouts were impressed by the fact that Grothe was able to take part in every drill at the pro day workout considering the severity of his knee injury and the long rehab process associated with it. He completed 62.5 percent of his passes for 8,669 yards and tossed 52 touchdowns and 44 interceptions at USF. The Bulls also utilized his athleticism and mobility by having him rush the ball 545 times for 2,206 yards and 23 touchdowns.Tampa Bay typically brings in two quarterbacks to help run its rookie mini-camps. Some of the past quarterbacks have included USF QB Pat Julmiste and Nebraska QBs Sam Keller and Joe Ganz, among others. The Bucs likely will bring four quarterbacks to training camp this year, and if Leftwich isn't part of the mix, one of the team's rookie mini-camp quarterbacks could stand a decent chance of taking part in Tampa Bay's training camp and preseason.Grothe could be deemed a feel-good story in the Tampa Bay community since he grew up in Lakeland and played a significant role in USF's recent success. Grothe is a player many believe is destined for the Canadian Football League, but if his private workout with the Bucs goes well he may have to put the CFL on hold for an opportunity, however brief it might be, with Tampa Bay in the NFL. Did Brees just pack it in and quit? Should Grothe because some stupid website says his stint will be brief?STFU, we know Grothe probably won't make the team, you pointing out the obvious with articles doesn't add any significance to your belief.
