If I remember correctly he was being blocked and was off balance falling to his right when Race came around the end so at that point anybody could stiff armed Selvie...not to mention didnt Selvie get banged up in that game?

He was fighting off a block and was off balance when Ray Rice got his poster shot.

And that crap was all over that ESPN360 commercial all last fall.

Well, consider the source (some knuckle-dragging Rutgers blogger). But you have to admit that Selvie was often ineffective against elite competition. I think the Auburn game was the only one where he excelled against top-flight opponents.

I think we'll see an even better Selvie after a full season.

Selvie's production fell off during league play because of the back injury and because he was garnering a lot more attention by the time we started facing BE opponents.  OCs were game-planning around and away from him.  The other D-linemen will benefit from that, this coming season.
