The 288.5 million dollar 50,000 seat stadium the gophers are making is really nice! I am sure you have looked at it.

If you had to choose, what would ours look like?

for 288 million you would think that they would put more than 50,000 seats in there.  yea i know it can be expanded but with a brand new stadium you think they would be able to draw more than 50K for a game.  thats probably about around $500K of revenue that they will be missing out on each game......

when we do get a stadium i dont care if we dont spend 288 million but i want more than 50K seats.

That's how much it costs for a quality non erector stadium.

They could have built a steel erector set like another school for cheap.

50,000 seats is plenty anyway. You want to maximize your booster donations by keeping demand high and supply low

I just think that its a nice design. It has that college look to it.

Smazza is right.  We need 80K designed for future expansion to 100K+.  I expect we will be filling RJS with a waiting list in a few years, and you may as well have the big stadium if we are going to do it - otherwise, we should stay where we are.  Now what I would reallly like is 100K and an SEC invite.
