USFan, apparently you haven't been to a game in RayJay in a while, you'll be shocked at the amount of students in the section, it's gone up massivly in the past 3 years.

I'm a student and I know a lot of people who are going. We'll be loud. We don't like this two game losing streak one bit.

Students have been great so far, even for the Fri night game. Let's see how they do on the heels of a 2 game losing streak and a non-ESPN game.

We need to start filling the seats better, Students AND Alumni (and just general football fans)

There is football in this state besides UF, FSU (sucks),and Miami (stinks), NOW we need to step up and show it!!!!!!

I don't want to be a flame on everyone's "the students rock" bit here, but they don't show up in mass numbers. Yes they are showing up more now then in the past, but last I checked there are 40k students and we haven't drawn 40k to a game all year. Don't start jumping down my throat on this, because I know the students on the board all go to the games but where is the rest of the student body?

Students shouldn't be the issue.  It's the walk ups that are gonna be a problem.  Sat. is the Lightnings home opener.  :-/

Read my original post clearly.  I graduated last fall and the last time I was at RayJay was the WVU game.

I just want to make sure that the students on this board read this and show up on Saturday despite the 2 game losing streak.  I'll be sitting in the student section on Saturday and I want to see a great atmosphere!

40k is all students at USF (undergrad & grad) not to mention it includes many people who are here to pick up just a class or two. This goes back to the whole commmuter school thing.
