24-27-1 is basically Billy MOHL in year seven. I prefer to get a young and hungry assistant that can hopefully punch up and motivate the guys to play hard after a tough inning(s) or game.

Very intriguing. Has an ex mlb manager ever done that?

Chuck Jeroloman should be at the top of the list if he wants the job.

That’s the first name that popped into my head.  Also thought Palumbo - the long time assistant at ECU - those guys obviously have it figured out.

We hired a guy like that. He was an assistant under Mark Kingston. 🙄

He wasn't hungry enough and did not show he could coach kids up into winners.

Just saying that bringing in an assistant from a winning program isn't a guarantee. As we've learned, there is no set formula for finding a winning coach.

Ask CAG and CAAR if they are friends with any college baseball coaches looking to come to Tampa.  Works for me.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
