USF as underdogs, route Syracuse in the Boca Bowl, and people say, "USF is better than I thought."

Then, USF signs the top G5 recruiting class, and people say, "And getting better"

That double hit of postive USF news opened some eyes. 

 

Good point, Mike. Conference realignment from internet fanboys is so very "what have you done for me lately". The conferences and the consultants they hire are far more objective. That said, we do not have the pedigree of many programs with 100 more years of history than we do, so the only thing we can do is play the "what have you done for me lately" card. 

Go to a nice bowl in 2024, win it. Win the conference and make the playoff in 2025 (after beating Miami and possibly UF). Repeat while beating BYU in 2026. After those three years, we will be in a new conference to open the 2027 season in our new stadium.

When we were losing, these internet geniuses had a very short memory about how good we were just a few years before. Basically USF’s problem all along was hiring the wrong coaching staffs after Leavitt got fired. Finally USF got it right with the hire so of course we are going to be hyped up & delusional lol. Im standing with my playoff prediction for USF next season. Expectations are high right now lol
