so you are celebrating something that can also hurt the team you root for in the future, you are not very smart
-
Herman is quietly doing a good job. It's weird to say quietly when talking about Texas but he put together a very good season while being average at the QB position. If he hits there in recruiting or Transfer they are going to turn the corner as a force as soon as next season.

there are around 2k tickets left for a sellout. You also have to take into account that visiting fanbase allotments never help out in this conference so there is always a few k released late.
Conference Championship games always take longer to sell bc you don't have the guarantee of every season ticket holder buying.

being "complete arses" is UCF's entire marketing strategy, starting with that bogus "National Championship" campaign.
pride comes before the fall. welcome back to earth. please see your way to the exit & cry your tears in your own special 2017 NaTiONaL cHAmpS forum.
we aren't obligated to feel sorry for u. we've lost our own legendary QB's to knee injuries & I don't recall a single UCF fan signing up here to send prayers or condolences.
SEE YA!
goodness.....step back and realize these are amateur athletes

Yet here you are....
game week and always down for Football talk just like every other opponent on UCF's schedule. but the obsession seems to be on an Old coach sitting in a retirement community & UCF's Football stadium

It was the same last season but Flowers would just go off script

The ending of that story was you could win both and not get a NY6 game or victory in which case I wouldn’t care one bit about AAC championships just like the vast majority of the world.
so you don't want a NY6 game for USF bc you might lose it? God you're pathetic

the banter from you guys is not even fun or lighthearted it's just sad
your whole fanbase has a defeatist attitude where you are now lowered to 'I rather be 7-5 then build that' Narrator: "No they wouldn't"

Nope
alright then you guys can continue to bicker about stuff that has nothing to do with either Football team. Scott Frost and Heupel are not O'leary, time to let the mid 2000s go

Talent wise we can win. Coaching staff concerns me. Only way we win is if Gilbert changes spots. Shannon did a good job of shutting down Cincy's RB last week. He took the run between the tackles away. That worries me.
3rd and long worries me. We haven't really found a way to stop anyone on 3rd and long consistently all year.
I don't see either team better from an athletic stand point. I just feel they have a P5 quality coach staff and ours is about CUSA level.
Too bad we aren't playing at their place this year. Gilbert could, perhaps, not show up due to having his tires slashed and we could just say oh yeah happened again.
other than Pitt and Cinci the UCF defense has been terrible in 1st halves. I'm not sure what that says about Shannon

Oh that's a real equivalency. Academic fraud vs. the death of an athlete.
We fired Antigua and his brother. His brother immediately.
You kept O'Leary the murderer and did everything you could to make sure there were as few repercussions as possible after the death of a student athlete.
Not exactly the truth.
And if you look at my posting history I was never an O'leary fan and there is a good number of UCF fans that didn't want him coaching as long as he ended up be. You guys are obsessing over stuff that happened over a decade ago before Danny White.
I also don't get the fans from both sides that throw around the Academic Smack talk leading up to this game. I just find it weird how USF fans are trying to paint UCF as some terrible place seeded in evil and corruption. It's completely detached from reality if you would take the time to see UCF in person instead of using decade old smears.

like the boxer that talks himself into a win

Ummmm, the handling of the E. Plancher case, lack of remorse and honoring of the poor kid or even penny pinching on helping the family out. Also, the multiple NCAA violations, the university misusing state funds for a new building against rules or the massive amounts of debt and overspending on athletic facilities....... yeah, a real example of a model program that has built a winner at all costs. Personally, I'll take our University and it's responsible and ethical way of doing business. We have had mistakes, but they are very minor compare to the swamp of corruption that is UCF.
Didn’t your basketball program get caught doing academic fraud just a year ago? Give me a break

I'm sure when you guys build one it will be done 'the right way' and 'just like those Texas schools with Boosters in the Oil Market'...in 2035

even if UCF comes out flat the Referees will help out..gotta protect the Brand

If UCF wins vs Cinci it will be 3:30 or 4 kickoff
If UCF loses vs Cinci Noon

I’ll admit this team is not as good as the 2017 one. Shaq Griffin & Hughes were big losses. Especially with what Hughes did on special teams on punt and kick returns.
but as long as Milton is healthy UCF has a chance

McKenzie Milton is the best QB in the AAC

Darriel mack scares me, honestly. Scary good athleticism.
physically Mack has zero limitations but he hasn't been asked to pass enough to really tell if he can read defenses. I think he only has like 3 pass attempts the whole season. That is one thing Heup has mismanaged, Mack should have had more pass attempts vs SC State & SMU

Seth Boomer is 2 for friggin 13. He hasnt even sniffed a 50 percent completion clip in his career. You cant possibly tell me that there is another qb on that squad that couldn't do better
Really? Why?
Injury. He didn't practice the entire week before the Memphis game.
if true I think it's a bit of a gamble by the coaching staff but we'll see.

Milton might not play tonight for UCF so that might make ECU more dicey on the road

Wimbush didn't get run off by Herm Edwards and Arizona State after about 25 minutes of Saban telling him to get lost.
And all reports he is a great locker room guy.
