As of this moment, only Colorado has confirmed that they have made coach Sanders an offer, but USF continues to talk to his reps.

 

Hoping it's Deion but expecting more of this...

He’s not shutting down the speculation, which leads me to believe he’s leaving, but he’s not announcing anything because he doesn’t want to deflate the program.

If it is him, the announcement won’t be until after their game on Saturday. He’s already said he won’t allow any distractions with the game ahead.

Those saying the announcement was today made me think they hired someone else.

If it is Deion, I don’t see them announcing it until after their championship game.

I’d be good with Herman if we can get him. I just hope he would be able to recruit here.

Deion is the only candidate that would really excite me. It would be crazy getting top 15 recruiting classes. Coupled with quality coordinators, we could become the monster team that was talked about years ago. 

Deion Sanders is getting 4 and 5 star recruits to go to a no name school and is about to be 9-0. Would be interesting to see what he could do here.

Same applies next game. Will the team that took Cincy and UF to the wire show up, or, will the ECU/Ville team show up? If it's the latter, I don't know how you can keep this coach. He has a team that is at least capable of being competitive with good teams, but he is unable to get them prepared and motivated for more than a couple of games. A good coach would have also won at least 1 of those 2 games (UF or Cincy), but forget about that for the moment, I am really interested in what our next game looks like.

I have a hunch that our players are better than they are being coached, and when they are motivated, they can put together a decent game. But, there is nothing motivational about this coach and staff, so they show up and get their brains beat in most weeks.

 

On another note, is it true that Scott's buyout is less than $200k? If so, if I was MK, he would be gone today.

The school would owe him less than 200k. What the USF Foundation would owe him isn't known as that is not made public.
