  1. Tony Dungy IMO is the perfect example of a coach that can get things done without the abuse...

    Great coaching results...

Its hard to make players get over/temporarily forget bad mistakes..and move on.

.fumble/missed coverage/missed easy tackle./dropped pass...knowing you let your team mates down....

Yelling might be a very short fix but IMO not the long lasting results we are after..

  2. IMO you just proved exactly what i said above..

What part of "He personally  attacks the person with the stupid derogatory statements.". do you not understand..

" maybe your "ADHD" is preventing you from remembering correctly" ....try to coat as you wish it still stinks..

do you have such a sense of inferiority that you feel compelled to respond with the personal attacks???

might want to get with a medical professional about your issues

  3.

For a player who wants to be a starter next year...the last two paragraphs looks like a safety valve...but not realy what he wants..

.So I still believe we are ahead in the running...and  have a good chance of him becoming a Bull and  playing at Ramond James...

    Good work, Bull-71!

All we need to worry about is some family member, a girlfriend, or something intangible that locks him to the MSU area.

I have not seen any ties to suggest ties to MSU... He did mention an easy trip to Bainbridge from Tampa ... and he still has strong ties there and Tallahassee..

  4. Here's how I see it. Right now, the battle for starting at USF is all even. It could very well be Mike White if he does well before the season begins.

And I think "doing well" enough to start is not going to take much, not like what Grothe and B.J. had to do.

Do we have someone who can step up right now? I think that's at 50%.

If Bench comes in, it certainly gives our team another option. I think we'd be at 75%.

We don't have a Grothe or a B.J. Daniels, with our without Bench.

But I'd sleep better if Bench is on the roster.

IMO Bench is the stater AND RED SHIRT WHITE get him the time to develop ..put on weight..perfect his game..a win win for him...

Let Floyd and Eveld be backups...

White will have two years as a starter...after bench leaves.  plenty of time to highlight his abilities and get our offense running smoothly...back to the old 40 points per game.....

.We could actually have  qualified backups at QB..

  5. Ok lets take a look...

The interesting aspect of the prospect of Bench possibly coming to MSU is he mentioned unprompted that he had a redshirt year open to him that he'd be willing to take in order to learn the playbook and develop chemistry with his new teammates. Bench said fifth-year senior quarterback Tyler Russell being the projected starter at the position for the 2013 season wouldn't affect his decision much as a negative against MSU when he finally decided on a new school.

"I perfectly understand that if it were to be Mississippi State, not saying that it will be or they're leading in this thing but whatever, Tyler Russell is the starter," Bench said. "If I end up at MSU, I want a chance at some point to go in and compete for a starting job."If that's at MSU and then Tyler Russell is the starter then maybe that next spring, I would get a fair shot to start from then on. I will remind everybody I have a redshirt year to use and I'm willing to do that too if I need to in order to get myself ready to be the starting quarterback for the following three years."

So if I read between the lines I read  "much as a negagtive'  it is still a negative...

and folowed with "I perfectly understand...Tyler Russell is the starter"....

For a player who wants to be a starter next year...the last two paragraphs looks like a safety valve...but not realy what he wants..

.So I still believe we are ahead in the running...and  have a good chance of him becoming a Bull and  playing at Ramond James...

  6. Back from MSU already definitely announcing on Thursday.

I follow him on twitter and lots a people asking about where he is going...but I think he's got a plan on how he wants to do this...I like his plans...he just says he will anounce when he is ready...

I think we have a good chance and some of our players have been tweeting him...

He likes and wants to be a leader and by God that what we need right now... I believe that Willie T  giives out the leadership vibes  that Steven can feel comfortable with.

Having team mates that will work for a QB is paramount...from receivers running routs to OL blocking....

I realy hopes he comes to USF..It would be one hell of a turn around...

Lot of potential for Steven to shine and  get .credit for his leadership and effort..

  7.

Bench/White is my absolute/least favorite USF Bull.

ok explanation please....are there other options that you are thinking about???

    He's just a manic-depressive schizophrenic multi-personality BULL! :D

I'd rather have ADHD...I forget its a lot easyer... schizopheric multi personality wow if  I had to keep that straight.. :bang:

  8. I missed the part about the percentage of likelihood that you will win said lottery. I'd hate to muster all of the necessary resources only to find that the funding fell through, for reasons such as...

    a)  Line: the line in front of me exhausted the good numbers,

b ) QB: the clerk selling the ticket did not execute the sale as quickly as we had practiced, we must sign a new clerk

    c)  Defense: it was hard to find parking because of all the other cars running interference, so I had to park a long way off and walk in the hot sun, and my money kept slipping out of my hands. Remember, I never had to buy lottery tickets in high school.

The odss are about the same that FS gave us in Tallahassee... :D

  9. AS EXPECTED. Came up short in typical USF athletics fashion...watch for the Softball team to do the same as they lose to Florida and fail to reach Super Regionals..as did the baseball team in failing to secure the Big East regular season title after leading nearly all season before getting swept by Seton Hall. Their only hope now is to win the Big East Tournament.

We'll always have second-tier sports programs until we don't.

Sour grapes...??? I am proud of their accomplishments...Is your golf up to their level.????

  10.

I'm curious if Eveld and Floyd are tweeting him to come to USF...

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that they aren't....

I would think by now they have a good idea about their abilities...

They might fill in as a backup but I believe they know they are not at the level required for 1st string starter...

Given enough of a lead I believe Taggart would reward them and let them play ...Remember "RUDY" at ND

I harbor no ill will..I believe they tried to the best of their abilities. and should be given the oportunity to get on the field..

But it should be part of the BIG picture

  11. we will see

No regrets.. you cannot relive yesterday..  By the way I will invite you to sit with me and Willie T for lunch if I win..

Ps if you cannot afford  the airline tickets from california  it I will be  glad to buy them for you... :guinness:
