    Anything except for the official LOI document on NSD is a recruiting tactic. You can tell a kid he has an offer and a full ride, but if you mail a fancy certificate to his home...it makes it feel more real, It's tangible. Something about having it in writing makes it special. And hey, if it works for them..it works for me lol

    And it is something he can show his friends and HS coaches..

    I agree there is a light at the end of the tunnel.... I feel so much better with our recruitment....we are becomming a place of local pride again...

    It might not be easy but I fully agree..

    The only question is not if we will win but WHO WILL BE THE NEXT GIANT USF KNOCKS OFF THE PEDISTAL

    ok a reality check... yes there are secrets but recruits in todays world have no secrets... 

     

    There is an army of fans ---millions--- who follow sports and  are interested in the next recruit/savior..

     

    the next Johny football etc...

     

    Where a recruit goes in the end will not depend on any SECRET... he will go where friends and coaches suggest.. after all ..he is 17 or 18 years old..

     

    Can he be swayed by SEC BS ....IMO  some yes and some no...there are so many options...

     

    So in the end if the secret does not harm the student/recruit or an institution/College then let the POSTER information flow..

     

    Lets do some research...check his twitter...who his friends are and ...

     

    If  USF is not his choice  lets find out why..and try to learn from it..

     

    Lets face it our previous coach IMO was a reason for recruits not wanting to come here... I heard it personally... 

     

    We have learned from past mistakes....  let not repeat them... lets work together to better USF Football

    Well, you are entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to mine. If I were a betting man, I would make the gamble that some have lost respect for him. Vincent Jackson being incredulous over the situation and others stating they are committed with or without Litton tells me they no longer care where he goes. Personally, if I saw somebody publicly endorse something then do a complete 180 I would think that person is full of ****. Which is excatly how I feel about Litton. But if you want to keep playing devil's advocate go ahead..

     

     

    You're talking awful tough about a kid that isn't even a senior in high school. But hey if that's your thing...

     

    The word is commitment.....  There a couples who get married and are committed for life...there are others who always see divorce as an option...

     

    Kids 17 or 18 years old understand this...  some are mature and wait  before committing some are not....

    Respect for others, empathy and  forthright communication...  are important factors in relationships ....

     

    We cannot read recruits minds so we have to judge the dedication by their words and deeds.. Saying one thing and then doing the unexpected  (cheating on a girlfriend) is something they should have learned by now.... this is not accepted....

     

    Having a sitdown in private is the mature way to end a relationship....

    The Ideal situation is that commitments are honored by school and recruit...the second best is the recruit keeps you informed so that both USF and the recruit can adjust to changes ....(a heads up)

     

    The "last thing" desired  is the school and or the recruit change his mind and the other is  Blindsided.  

     

    When it becomes apparent that the "last thing" is reality ....kids and schools need to move on..

     

    The quality of life depends on choices...this is a basic truth..businesses do not like to be unprepared ...and Football is a business..

    Chase Litton is not the only QB looking for a home.....CWT and USF have it right cut your investment/losses and invest in someone who is more mature....

    If he is so into himself right now my suggestion is to contact AW ...play it for what it is...  Juvenile.....  life is short and life is not a game..  there are no rewinds...  might just be he is not ready for D1  and the commitment required... 

     

    Some of these kids need to grow up..I'm not saying Chase is one.. but if the tweet above is correct I'm glad he is gone..  Self Centered Narcissistic  non-team players are not needed at USF..

    Our defense will be back ...our DL  corners looking much better our secondary looking better

     

    On Offense we have Bench on campus getting up to speed with the play book...

     

    and  Mike White...they can handle snaps  ...yes...yes..

     

    Kennard Swanson as a FB/power back...255#  blowing holes ... run baby run....

     

    There lots of talent coming in and IMO better position coaches and  conditioning staff...

     

    I can imagine Vincent Jackson wanting to be part of this..

    Not worried...plenty of time We have Bench and  Mike White..to fill the immediate need...

     

    I Rather have Litton decommit right now than the AW game played all of last year..

     

    We will have our mojo back this year..got some decent backs comming in , our  DL and  secondary  will be better...

     

    A new power kicker in Nadleman...

     

    I'm ok things are looking up  ...I have hope..

    This is becoming another Woulard thread. At this point if he doesn't want to be here so be it and who cares. If he does then great.

    The real question might be..."does he deserve to be here???"

     

    If he doesnt' change  from past behavior I see no reason why USF would want him..

    But have you talked to the kid?  I let CWT make those decisions because he has WAAAYYYYYY  more info than I and most of the rest of the yokels on this board do.

     

    No I haven't talked to him and CWT Aces for me right now...(imo) We need team players  who can work together and I'm not convinced that Michael Dyer has figured that out yet.. 

     

    I hope that he can get his act together and come to USF but I just a bit of a realist and not too starry eyed right now.

     

    His previous act does not make him appear as a team player willing to work for the GOOD of the team..Hence my  reservations..

    A Freshman giving  an interview just gives him a big head (IMO) great risk and little to gain. 

     

    If a player shines it is not only his work ethic but also the role of the other 10 players on the field ....

     

    The blocking, tackling, the holes created, the follow thru after the hand off ,.... need I go on..

     

    USF has to be a TEAM first. like Green Bay.. not out standing stars... individuals  giving interviews....

     

    I fully agree with this rule ...
