Bulls hoodie sweatshirt for myself...and a USF gold grill for my pooch.

Flowers was very good this year, proved me and alot of others wrong. He carried our team in a lot of games with his scrambling and made some very nice key throws along the way.  Not sure if he's the final answer for this team but he's a real winner/gamer, passionate about the game  and very exciting to watch.

It's only Dec and I'm already looking forward to next year !

So we've determine that QF is.....

* A terrible passer

* Has inflated stat's

* Is a player

* Is a gamer

* Is only a Soph

* Is improving each year/game

* Is the best QB in USF History

* Should be in the running for the Heisman

Would like to see how a backfield with AW, Mack , Flowers would perform.

Our DB's looked beyond lost out there.   I'm trying to re-watch the game (sober) on ESPN to give my final grades but I don't think Goodwin was on his game.

yes I did. he was a 6th year senior who missed wide open receivers in the first half. their line dominated our defensive line in the second half and his receivers were wide open. Hell he made one throw that he missed by 5 yards where their receiver didn't have anyone within 20 yards of him.

Sure did, and I also saw this:    Brandon Doughty 32-of-45 for 461 yards

Top TEAMs have upper tier QB's.

This team has turned things around because Flowers is a play maker. When a play breaks down he has the ability to not only extend it(how many times did we see him scramble and find a receiver running open downfield) but he also is a threat to run so they have to use a spy. It also opens up the run when he runs read option.

 

His passer rating this year was higher than Grothe, Daniels or Blackwell ever had here in a single year. He had a better TD to INT ratio (wasn't even close) and had more passing TDs this year than any other USF QB since we started.

 

This offense would be garbage with a pure passer. we don't have a dominant oline or 5 star receivers

Never stated we didn't need a mobile QB, Let's change my wording from "pure passer" to "better passer".

Apparently you didn't watch the WKU team and their QB that beat us.

QF was one of the main reasons we won this year.....GREAT year for him as he proved me wrong and showed nice improvement all year long.  Mainly trying to say it would be interesting to see this team with a pure passer back there.  QF will always have a place on the field regardless of position and in the long run he might be better utilized elsewhere.  The team really came together and looking forward to next year and hope we come out real hungry !
