  1. Got these shoes a couple of years ago thinking they would fit me even though I wear a size 11.5...they're wearable(to me) but i'm super particular about foot comfort, thus they didn't get much usage except taking up space in my closet.

Very comfortable otherwise, and i'd say the size is a true 11. Nothing wrong with the shoes.

Asking $60 for the pair. I'll be happy to meet within reasonable distance (i'm in 33603) or answer any questions.

  2. I'm surprised this event wasn't talked about on this forum until the day of? I was thinking about creating a thread for the event to get even more of us to come out but figured the Facebook invitation was enough circulation.

Great turn out in Ybor. George Selvie among others were in attendance. No drama, good times all around.

Hopefully next year's Block Party will be even bigger.

Was disappointed Plies did not make an appearance.

I thought the special Wounded Warriors one was cool, but I do sgree adding a color that doesn't rep the school colors is very odd. Looking at you 2014 Oregon "Oakland Raiders" Ducks.

Maaaybe a special-themed helmet can slide with some different colors. I just think we should shy away from anything to do with UCiF.

Admittedly, the Wounded Warriors was awesome and this helmet is one of my personal favorites:

Run along Joey and go play in traffic on 301.

Shouldn't we be throwing Fennelly into 301 traffic? After all, he is the guy that decided to write an entire piece on the mishap.

Nothing like sending a message to everyone "Oh hey, BTW everyone, the local writers don't give a **** about USF athletics either so why should the Big 12?"

  5. Not trying to start a firestorm, but if the Big 12 would like to expand into Florida, who's to say USF is that much better a candidate than UCF. After a couple years playing in the Big East, and especially at the rate Holtz is going UCF will be our equals.

I know its hard for us to accept but, how far ahead of them are we really? How does the Orlando TV market compare? Whats their growth potential? How do the Universities compare regarding Academics, Quality of Sports, Facilities, Alumni, etc??

As of right now and the next few years, USF is the better choice. Tampa/St. Pete is the better market, we have a stadium that from day one can accomodate 65K for the big games, and as of today, we have arguably more established football and basketball programs. Five years from now, the answer could definitely be different, but I think if they expanded this year/next year, by a slim margin USF is still the clearer choice.

I'd say our stadium has about 35-40k of surplus seating for any game other than FSU

  6. I dislike what Skip is doing just as much as the next guy, and I agree on all of the noted areas of improvement which the Bulls desperately need to be worked on. One thing that really bothers me about Skip is that he doesn't have any intensity at all. Maybe this rubs off on his defense too, but when has he ever got in the referee's face about a **** call? In his press conferences, he shows no emotion almost as if losing was 'just part of the deal'. Maybe I just don't see it, but Leavitt was great at letting everyone know he was pissed off.

  7. Pretty good price there with different flight times as well at that price point.

I'm starting to look into it tonight. Anyone purchase tickets through USF or everyone going through Stubhub?

Temple easy to get to through public transportation?

I've been advised to hold out for $5 tickets (scalped) in the parking lot. Otherwise you're looking at about $30 on StubHub for 50-yard line GA seats behind the Bulls bench.
