    Commonly thought, Friday.

This was posted in the late afternoon yesterday. I would suspect USF would make their case pretty soon:

" Presentations to the Big 12 by potential expansion schools are being made this week and sources told Pony Stampede the Big 12 wants to have those wrapped up by end of week. "

The Big 12 Conference is hosting potential expansion schools today and through the end of this week in Dallas.

Houston presented to the Big 12 shortly after 3 pm CT with Air Force presenting around 4 pm CT.

Schools like BYU, Central Florida, Cincinnati, Connecticut, Rice, SMU, South Florida and Tulane expect to present at some point later in the day or week. Most schools are in a holding pattern.

One source familiar with the Big 12's schedule this week told Pony Stampede that it's a fluid situation with some schools as to whether they'll get the call to actually present. Connecticut is expected to present tomorrow.

While expansion is being mulled and an Oct. 17 Big 12 Presidents meeting looms, another source said that standing pat at 10 is becoming a more likely scenario as lots of details are being worked out among schools, television networks and other parties.

As for SMU's case, the school has held multiple meetings with power brokers in the Big 12 like David Boren and Greg Fenves, presidents of Oklahoma and Texas, respectively to make their case.

It's not a secret that Bob Bowlsby also lives close by to SMU's campus and while Bowlsby doesn't make the decision, he's the man Big 12 member schools have asked to do his due diligence and research potential candidates.

Many schools in the running are viewing this not only as a chance to improve their conference affiliation, but to also find where the school must improve for the next round of expansion.

While many industry sources have said that the Big 12 has favorites, that's not the case, two sources close to decision makers told Pony Stampede. Many schools will look to Texas and Oklahoma for the decision on what is best for the Big 12. Schools also recognize how quickly a program can go from dormant to power in today's world of recruiting and coaching changes.

The Big 12 hopes to have presentations concluded by the end of this week, but could stretch into next week.

Stop reading the Times.  Cancel the subscription, stop clicking the links.

I know a lot of folks here are not keen on these guys, but:

While some guys here don't care for Collin or his tweet-habits, I don't see anyone else taking a stand against the local writers constantly bashing USF (I'm looking at you, Fennely and Jones).

There wasn't a shred of optimism or support of the Bulls. What a slap in the face. There was no mention of Mack on track to smash Andre Hall's career rushing record(s), or the fact that we are poised to win the AAC (the East div anyway).

I just don't understand the hate...I mean, are other schools paying off the writers to publish hit pieces? At this point I'm through with the Times. They may as well be UCF in my eyes.

This is actually a really good suggestion.  A welcome packet of sorts.

It is important not to alienate new folks (not that you were Sellular).

Dan, at the moment you have made 37 posts and garnered 36 likes so clearly people like what you have to say.

    Obligatory downvotes imminent! JK

Edit: Parodies can be excellent if they're executed properly. The ones recently made...not so great. /opinion

You've used 6% of your posts in 4 years on this thread and all it is is a big inside joke you don't get. I don't think it's misleading, because it's not actually leading anyone anywhere. I guess it's click baity-since you clicked it. It's probably about nothing. You've got him there.

To a n00b of the forum, it's pretty misleading as the thread contains zero-content. Shame on me for anticipating some sort of news bit (and discussion) related to ECU. Disappointing thread is disappointing.

Edit: My closest guess is that the OP is wondering why someone didn't make a 10th parody thread?

    Who knows.

Complete opposite. He ruined a great tweet by making it seem like he should be careful because of his pro career, not actual health

I can't unquote your post for some reason, so my comment below is not in reference to the quote.

But, internet argument about Collin....wow. One could easily deduce that Collin is concerned about his health without making a direct reference to it.

This is what I've been waiting for someone to say!

I asked CWT if our defense would be mean, but he seemed a bit reluctant, only talking about being fast. I want a defense that's gonna be known as jock rockers every time they hit somebody.

    GO BULLS!

Big, punishing hits are great for ESPN. I hope Woodie is also preaching the importance of arm-tackling rather than just trying to knock a guy over.
