  1. I live here over here in Brevard County (East Coast) and am bringing three high school football coaches to see the game.  Does anyone have any tickets I can have or buy from you?  Also, is there a special place for RV parking?  They've never seen Tampa Stadium and know I'm a huge Bulls fan (sent many of my students to USF).

    Thank you in advance!

  2.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm ecstatic about the wins. That doesn't mean that we still don't have some glaring issues on both sides of the ball

    This.

Some people are mistaking speaking about legit concerns about this team as being negative.

Yes, but even if we were Alabama, people would be complaining.  It is getting rather annoying....

    3)  If not attending game in East Lansing, where will you be watching?   In the comfort of my own home

    4)  Do you prefer playing Big10 or ACC teams?   ACC

    5)  Would you take a :03-nutkick:  for a win against Michigan State?   No.  I can live with being 10-2!

  4. I'm going to play devil's advocate here and say that this loss could very well turn out to be the best thing that could have happened to this team this year.

We went into this season with optimism buoyed by having a new coach.  I, personally, still believe that Taggart will turn this team around.  However, we have gone many seasons where we blow out some 1AA team in our first game and become far too confident for our good.  It's usually after our blowout victory that we hear prognostications of undefeated seasons and BCS bowl games from our fans.  They were always unrealistic expectations, but we were always misled by our victory over some cupcake team.

This year can be different.  We have been served a big dose of humble pie.  We know what we are, but it's not too late in the season to fix things.  Our fans can have a realistic perception of where this team stands.  Our players will now understand that merely having a new coach and a new scheme is not enough to win games, but they also have to go out there and play with a different attitude.  Losing to a 1AA team will help our players understand that nothing can be taken for granted.

It's not too late to have a decent season.  When Michigan was shocked by Appalachian State in 2007, they still went on to beat Florida in a bowl game.  We have been humbled and humiliated, but at least it happened in the first game of the season and not our first conference game as it usually happens.  Maybe we needed this loss to inspire our team.  That is the silver lining from this.

I'd have to agree.  At least our problems have been exposed now as opposed to demolishing McNeese State and then getting manhandled by our conference.

  5. 1)  What is your tailgate meal for Game 1?   Homemade pizzas

    2)  How many USF quarterbacks will see action tomorrow night?   Two -- Floyd and Eveld

    3)  What do you believe will be the reported attendance?   31,289

    4)  Will you be staying until the end regardless of outcome?   Absolutely!

    5)  What USF themed website celebrates its 14 anniversary on the same night as the Bulls 2013 season opener?   All of them...

  6. 1)  USF

    2)  34-10

    3)  Shaw

    4)  Price

    5)  426

I think Floyd is going to dump off to Price far more times than he will any of the receivers.  With a new system in place, Coach is not going to let him go out and just throw the football around.  Safe, high percentage passes with maybe a deep ball every so often (maybe three the whole game over 25 yards).

I also predict Floyd will have three first downs alone by scrambling and a fumble...
